Mini-Profile

Love is a strange, fascinating and even mystical emotion. For centuries mankind have been looking for the edges of reality, the depths of the oceans and the darkness of space. Yet we have little understanding of love, nor the good it can do.

Love can heal any wound in seconds, touches scars in a less than a minute. It heals that which time itself cannot ever hope to heal. An emotion, a feeling that causes men to die for it, makes the heart suffer and yet people yearn for it.

Love guides where a compass fails, where maps have not yet been drawn. Its path can be followed through the darkest night, the most dangerous valleys and the fiercest of storms. For the true seeker it is a beacon shining from afar.

Soldiers have been taken hostage by its splendour, armies moved because of its powers, even whole empires bowed down before its majesty. Where love walks peace and war walk hand in hand, ready to obey its every command. Battles lost, wars won all in the name of love.

Motivation is a key aspect of love. Love of music, arts, war, science and so forth creates our world; it even creates palaces of the heart and mind. Why do mere men become so motivated by it that they conquer countries, move mountains and become so blinded by it that they even challenge Him who is ultimate love?

Love pushes away friends, yet accepts strangers into its courtyard. It brings people together, greets friends, but holds the power to stop them from greeting. Friend becomes foe in the name of love, and vice versa. When incomplete in life love poisons the heart, strangles the mind and tears through your thoughts.

Love understands past politics, science, medicine, philosophy and even genius. It embraces the poor, and very often shuns the rich. With the eyes of the soul it sees, with the senses of the spirit it feels. Its senses are heightened a thousand times when it flourishes in ones’ heart.

Race, colour, creed, language, religion and looks do not matter to love; none of them even venture close to love’s borders. They are all exiles from the country that love rules.

One must be watchful of love, and strive to keep it in its purest form. Corrupted it leads to obsession, jealousy, violence and even madness. Love of the wrong things also adds to its downfall. For love of war leads to hate, love of many to jealousy and sadness, love of money to greed, love of alcohol to drunkenness. There are many more, and the heart should be well mapped out so love knows the borders and follows a righteous path.

Love should always be guided by Him, who created it, He who is the Creator of the heaven and earth, who never slumbers nor sleep, the Alpha and Omega. For He made the biggest sacrifice in the name of love of all, and watched His Son being nailed to a cross, dying for sin, of which was not His own.

His Son died because of His undying, undefiled, never ending love for us, mere mortals. His love is so great it not only saved one man, one country, one nation, but it saved the entire human race.

        God loves us…………
