  I do not self harm but I think about suicide all the time. I cheated on my ex, he did abuse me and my kids. I was also sexually abused as a child, although it was by my mom’s best friend’s son and I never told anyone till a few years ago. Most people don’t understand how something like that affects you for the rest of your life.

  you’re right. that’s why it makes me so upset. he has made some efforts to change, but i honestly don’t think he realizes some of the stuff he does. i have tried to point it out to him several times and it’s like it goes in one ear and out the other. his parents and friends are in texas. and even if they were around, they would treat him like he was the scum of the earth. he has a very bad family. and his friends only want to do something for someone if they get something in return. it’s a bad thing all around. like i said, i’m just tired of waiting. he doesn’t want to go to any kind of counseling, he doesn’t want to go to church, he doesn’t want to listen to anything i try to tell him about us. i really think i should just get on with my life because if i wait on him, my dreams will never come true. i want to be loved and have a normal family life and i don’t think i will get that from him. i guess i am just stupid. i don’t know.

  well, since i don’t have a job right now, i have no place to go. we are living with my mom right now since we just moved up from texas and haven’t been able to find our own place yet. and in the past, every time i have tried to leave to go stay with friends, he would call and harass me and accuse me of cheating on him and be really mean, and call me names. then he would start the same thing all over again. he isn’t as bad as he used to be but he still does it. he is just very insecure. he tells me to find my own friends and do my own things and then when i do, he freaks out.
