Yeah, you’re right, I’m not sure I can resist taking it further. I think that he has more experience, wisdom etc is what attracts me too him. I’ve dated younger guys but it’s always the older, confident guys that really get to me. That I’ve actually managed to find a single one that likes me too seems like a miracle.

I am worried what people will say, especially my parents, but surely age is just a number?

I’m 23, I think he really likes me, but I’m just worried it’s because I’m young and he likes the idea he can pull a young girl. But I’d love to think he could respect me. It’s not like I’m a teenager.

If you want to keep drinking, keep drinking. If you decided you were going to quit eating chocolate, would you force her to aswell?

It wouldn’t be fair to try and tempt her to drink, or drink excessively in her presence, respect her decision, but she must respect yours.

Anyway I agreen with the above replies for the most part. You are NOT ugly. I have felt almost exactly the same way as you and I can assure you that learning to be comfortable in your skin and appreciating the beauty of your body is the only way you’ll feel better.

Everyone has an idea of what is beautiful, and very few people believe themselves to be it. I expect other people that you look at and think are beautiful have felt really ugly at some point. I don’t know anyone that hasn’t.

I know it’s a cliche but if you keep your head high and rise above the pathetic jibes and negative comments (probably driven by your peers own insecurities) then you really will have the last laugh.

Dan I do that too, it’s natural to crave love and attention, and you’re not the only one who falls for people too easily. It certainly doesn’t make you a fool.

Online interaction must always be kept in perspective, because you don’t truly know someone until you’ve met them and spend a good deal of time with them (in my opinion), but I’ve been guilty of falling for someone online before so I know how it can feel. I managed to leave that particular obsession behind when I started to be attracted to one of my ‘real life’ friends.

Anyway, like many others have said, you are exactly the type of guy a lot of girls would love to be with, you have a rare sensitivity and empathy which is attractive.
