• My friends call me ‘EMO’ but to tell the truth I have no idea what ‘EMO’ is.
  

  Emo is a label which describes people who listen to emo bands (it’s difficult to name them as there is a lot of debate as to which bands are actually emo but a lot of people would say that bands such as My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Cute is what we aim for, Panic! At The Disco etc. are emo, i’m not saying they are im just saying that fans of these bands are often labelled emo.) The Emo Fringe/Bangs is a defining characteristic of an emo, it is a long-ish fringe/bangs which covers one eye/half the face. Some emos wear glasses with thick, dark, square rims. Emo’s are stereotypically depressed and self-harmers but I know a lot of people who listen to emo music and look like emos that are (usually) very happy. Just be yourself and don’t worry about the labels that other people put on you, although your friends probably call you emo in a joking way.

  yeah it would be, but it would also be good to talk to other people who are learning it as a second language, to see how they are learning it, maybe they know things I don’t and vice versa. but yeah you’re definatly right that the best way to learn another language is from a native speaker.

  i just want to learn more and get some practice. that sounds good, i hav myspace and msn if that would help? does he speak english? as it might make it easier to begin with as my Finnish is limited. thanks for offering, regardless of whether he agrees or not =)
