  Everyday remind yourself of the things you are blessed with. You obviously have a wonderful wife. Instead of dwelling on everything that is wrong, which is so easy for all of us to do, think about the things in your life that ARE going good. And it may not help you a lot, but one thing that my mother always told me really stuck with me: Anytime things were going wrong, she would say “Well are you dead? Do you still have all of your limbs? Can you walk and talk? Then I guess you are not doing all that bad.” Just remember that no matter what point you are at, things could be worse. And as far as some useful advice, i would say talk to your wife. let her know what is going on, and ask for her help to get motivated about things again. sometimes we need a little help to pull ourselves back up.

  Don’t worry about talking about something that he may think is “stupid” Talk about stuff that truly interests you, if he thinks it’s stupid, well you obviously shouldn’t be with him. Also here is something I’ve learned; we all say stupid things in the beginning of relationships before we get to know the person and we’re still nervous. That means he worries about it too. Not to mention, since it is such a new relationship, he probably won’t notice if you do say something dumb. I found that with my boyfriend, we got the closest when we stopped worrying about if we looked stupid and just started having fun together.

  Have you thought about starting your own business? If you find that kind of thing interesting, that is what I would suggest. And you knowing about so many things, you could start any business that interested you. Me and my mother own a company together and I love it!

  I believe that if you look, you can even find “dry-look” gel. I’ve seen it before but I don’t know where you buy it. Also, go into a local salon and ask their advice. I’m sure they would know.

  It’s a good thing you have decided to not let her ruin your life too. It takes a lot of courage. Alcohol and drugs can completely change a person. I had an ex that did meth and when he was high, I could look into his eyes and just tell. I think it is becuase the eyes are the windows to the soul.
