  Hi, I have not read the replies in here, not because I am not interested but coz am in a cyber cafe and have to leave, but I have read all your posts in here.
  
  I dont know if my answer would help you or not, but I have been involved in almost the same (although much worse) situation earlier this year.
  
  My girl friend got pregnant. She was studying to be a cabin crew in airlines, I was doing a small time job to support my acting dream. I do not have a professional degree and we both could not support the child, her family does not like me and mine HATES her. She was in the same dilemma as you, because she could not think of aborting the child, but I did not want the child if we cannot give him/her a life where she/he does not have to worry about survival. The question of basically of money.
  
  Money, I have found out, is VERY VERY important, poverty is a vicious circle, your child might have a talent but if you cannot provide opportunities for that talent to develop, your child’s talent will be wasted. A child studying in an expensive school gets so many opportunities to discover any kind of talent he might have (at least here in INdia) and thats just one example. Bringing some one in this world when you cannot ensure a wholesome life, I think is as bad as abortion.
  
  Moreover, her family is very conservative, she feared that if her father found out that she got pregnant before marriage, he might have a heart attack, as he already had 2 earlier. She had to get aborted, only she and I knew about her pregnancy.
  
  You know what the doctor just fleeced us, charged exhorbitant price, could not diagnose that the pregnancy was ectopic, she had to undergo abortion 4 times!!!!!! Still she has pain in abdomen, she got selected as cabin crew in India’s top airline but could not perform the duty coz of severe pain just coz the doctor did not diagnose the ectopic pregnancy while she had time, MY girl had to leave her dream job because of that F******ing doctor.
  
  She charged us Rs 65000 for the operation, when I informed a friend of mine, who was a doctor and he met the doctor, she came down to 25000 can you belive she was charging 40000 rupees just coz she thought that she could!!!! And I am just talking about the 3rd operation, she had charged almost 4-5 times for earlier ones too.
  
  
  So I would suggest that if you find out that you are pregnant, first confirm if it is not ectopic, if it is ectopic, there is no other option but to get aborted. If not, I would say think about all the problems you might face and if you think you can come out of all that problems and have a solution for them only THEN go for it, otherwise I would suggest abort.

  I have bought this bike 4 months back it is a brand new bike. Anyway I am taking it to the service center tomorrow to get it checked but I dont trust the guys over there to do a sincere job so posted here.

  Hi flex, you just helped me on one of my questions. I am writing this not because I know much about quitting alcohol (have never been addicted) but because I also want to be there for you.
  
  I’ll tell you something, if you think that you will control your addiction and do it only for limited time or these many days a week/month, I think its going to be very difficult, because I have other addictions and you don’t even come to know when gradually you are back to your old self.
  
  You wrote that you are completely powerless over alcohol, REMOVE THIS THINKING FROM YOUR MIND. I would suggest something that might sound childish (it might be) take a bottol of your regular brand, go to a park where you can be alone, just keep the bottle in front of you, imagine it to be alive, A bully who is out to ruin your whole life, a bully who relishes destroying you little by little. And say to him as loud as you can while ensuring that no one is near enough to hear you ” I am not giving in to you and I will defeat you, you just wait and see I will detroy YOU, I LIVE MY OWN LIFE AND WILL NOT LET YOU F***ing DEFEAT ME. and pour the contents on the ground, throw the bottle. whenver you find yourself holding a bottle or a glass, see the bully in it, see it smiling on your weakness see it enjoying how easily it can defeat you, take your life and your wife from you, imagine it to be a guy who just wants to F*** you off from your wife’s life’ then just chuckle to yourself, go to a place where you can pour the contents into ground, basin, plants and JUST DO IT. No matter how it sounds whats to loose in trying???
  
  YOU ARE NOT POWERLESS OVER ANYTHING, YOU CONTROL YOUR ACTIONS.
  
  As i understand you are short on money (like me) and want to spend time with your family. You love your wife, you want to be with her, you are practically half way to quitting, problem would have been when you did not want to be with your wife.
  
  Take walks or jogging, talk about movies, share some jokes remember times well spent, talk anything but your addiction problem. If possible go to movies, when she is not available go to big bookstores where you can read the books without anyone approaching you every now and then asking you if they can help you.
  
  Just remove ALCOHOL from your life completely.
  
  Borrow a bike or car (if you dont have one) from a friend and go for drives with your wife and sometimes alone.
