  Here’s my 2 cents
  
  Truthfully, I know exactly how you feel. I have 1 friend. I think it may be partially dealing with your work. That is what I have found in my life. In my job I am dealing with 100-500 different people per day (retail manager is my job) and I have to play nice to most all of them. By the end of the day I am burned out and after 17 yrs of doing it I am WAYYYY burned out. I am lied to, cursed at and told I am worthless or stupid everyday and unfortunatley I started to believe that. Dealing with lots of people everyday can wear you down. Especially if you have to make nice to them and I do try to be nice. I know this sounds jaded. I learned it several years ago but I am still trying to come to grips with it. It hurts your other personal attempts at talking to people you really like or want to know or become close to.
  
  As for love life. Stop looking for it. When you stop looking for it it will usually bite you in the posterior. Just don’t htink about it and be yourself. Also love yourself if you don’t already.

  Shame will hurt you or cutting will hurt you. Hmmm Shame will go away, cutting will get worse. I am glad that you feel that much for your mother however I am realtively sure that she would rather have you healthy at any cost (including shame) than have you hurting yourself. Shame is one of the biggest causes of hangups and resentments. So let go of the shame and get help and be open to it.

  BTW quit kicking yourself. You screwed up so what you had 3 yrs and 25 days now you are back to square one, now go to square two.

  Fine you want it tough then here it is. YOU ARE SICK, you need help I won’t sugar coat it. You want to stop then stop. Only you can do it and it won’t be easy. Deal with it. This may not be what you want to hear but guess what you need to hear it. No person can make you stop but you. I am not going to say read an article but I am going to say to stop you are going to have to do somethings that you don’t want to and if that means going to a hospital then so be it. If you really want to stop that is how you do it. I am rooting for you to stop. And I am praying that you can. Find any help you can…
