  hi i was told by a psychiatrist that there is a good thing about psych meds there are 269 different ones (probably more now) and the bad thing is there are 269 meds.
  not all meds work for all people . it takes sometimes weeks for the meds to kick in but if they dont start then you need to change the drug to another. it is a guessing game noone know exactly what is going to work.. but they do work you just need to find the right combination.some of them have undesirable side affects so if the side effects are bad you need to maybe switch also. and in the fine print it says to watch out because sometimes the person becomes suicidal.
  I know it only makes you feel worse when people say just pull out of it or you have so much to live for. or you have no reason to be depressed.
  do you have any friends you can confide in? Can you get to a therapist? are there any groups in your area for depression? You need to get out of yourself. i am not saying that in a bad way what i am trying to say is your mind right now is a terrible place to be. you need to find something to get your mind off you. you sound like you are brooding (repeating negative thoughts over and over)
  maybe tryto get out and walk if you are able just to clear your mind.
  and i would even tell you to pray! even if your dont belive in God at this time or you are mad at him pray.he is always there.you dont need to make an appt.

  I have a question where do you live?
  I think maybe you dont want to die i think you just may not want to live anymore.
  i know i have been there. no life isnt easy especially when tragedy is everywhere.
  I know you may feel like your talking to yourself when you talking to God but youre not. I used to think i wasnt important to God. I was way down om his list.
  But through some good friends and a good church i found a loving God a God that cared for me. Even when i didnt care for myself.I thought if he loved me why did i go through all the terrible things i went through. Now i know…..so that i have compassion for people…i am able to connect with their pain…..I can say hey i know how you feel i have been there.
  no my life isnt a bed of roses now i still struggle.I am on some anti depressant(i just started again after not being on any for 2 years)
  i know there are programs for your meds for free my sister was on them it is for anyone .
  I think the thought about you being worthless are satan trying to bring you down.
  hey look how far down he has got you so far.
  Why dont you try to force yourself to get out. try calling a friend and asking to play video games or watch a movie. try a little at a time so you dont feel overwhelmed. You need to get out of yourself(does that make sense) remember your best thinking got you to where you are now. Make yourself go to the library.make yourself go for a walk(i know its hard to go far when you cant walk good)
  get yourself chacked out with type II you can get ganggreen easily. I know that its hard because your scared but the longger you wait the more damage you can do.

  hi jon
  i am new to this but i have been reading your posts and feeling your pain.
  I have been through some extreme stuff in my life also. I understand how you feel about being saved and not feeling anything.I to was saved when i was young.I didnt feel all giddy inside either. I walked away from God for awhile because i was such a mess i felt i was unlovable if i wasnt being abused enough i would abuse myself.
  I know where i live there are places the do counseling for free if you have a free clinic around call them also you need to be careful with the herbs and stuff because some of them can mess with your blood sugar.
  i see you made a list of disasters…now make a list of good things.. i know it will be harder to find them because of the depression but lookinside yourself…try talking to god if you dont know “how”to pray dont worry just have a conversation with him like he was in the room…..tell him if your mad at him,he can take it he has big shoulders…..tell him what your worries are…..cry out to him,
  Sometimes i do that and i feel better afterwards i feel refreshed.
  Please dont give into the depression…look for help.
