I see, I thank you for pointing that out.
If you feel you must ban me for asking a legitimate question, by all means do what you feel is correct. I would not expect any less from you.
It is my opinion however that your bullying tactics as an administrator are uncalled for and are a bit anti-social.
While I see now that you are free to make up rules as you go along, as stated by the CNET Networks TOS. I would still ask you to define the criteria of a “pointless” question. For example the thread in question certainly had a point for me, or else I would not have asked it. I would hate to violate another one of your imaginary rules and disrupt the board in the future; so please explain to me how this one works.

When you agreed to sign up for Help.com you agreed to follow the Help.com TOS as well as the CNET Networks TOS. Like I said the issue is closed. Any further disruptiveness on the site will result in your account being banned.

This clause exists no where in your Terms Of Use:
“We have the right, but not the obligation, to take any of the following actions in our sole discretion at any time and for any reason without giving you any prior notice:
Restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or any part of our Services;
Change, suspend, or discontinue all or any part of our Services;
Refuse, move, or remove any material that you submit to our sites for any reason;
Refuse, move, or remove any content that is available on our sites;
Deactivate or delete your accounts and all related information and files in your account;
Establish general practices and limits concerning use of our sites.”
Did you just make it up to explain your actions?

Thank you for at least responding.
But I still don’t under stand your logic. The idea of something being pointless is not prohibited in the Help.com Terms of use. I can only imagine that you know this which is why you haven’t tried to explain it to me. So why are threads closed when they do not violate the terms of use and why would you ban me when I do not violate the terms of use?
I simply do not understand your position on this and would appreciate a reasonable explanation.
Thank you.

What exactly was your intention of that post? Sesame Street is an educational show for kids. Your post is nonsensical and completely pointless. Also if you continue to post pointless threads then your account will be banned. This is closed.

Do you have a reasonable explanation to believe why Sesame Street is pointless or do you simply do not believe in free speech?
According to this thread other members of this board do not think Sesame Street is pointless
http://help.com/account/read-notice-4…
So the question becomes; what is it about Sesame Street that makes it an inappropriate topic?
Further still, I have reread the terms of use of this message board several times now and I do not find anything baring “pointless” help topics, if we are to assume it is pointless even though you are in the minority on that regard. In fact the word “pointless” is not even in the terms of use.
In case you have not read the terms of use, which seams likely by your actions, let me post the stated prohibited content bellow.
Harass, defame, intimidate or threaten another user;
The quotation about Sesame Street did not Harass, defame, intimidate or threaten another user.
Interfere with another individual’s rights to privacy (e.g., by posting personally identifiable information about another individual) without consent;
The quotation about Sesame Street did not Interfere with another individual’s rights to privacy
Distribute chain letters, surveys or contests;
The quotation about Sesame Street is not a chain letter, survey or contest
Post any material that is defamatory (i.e., disparaging to the reputation of an individual or business);
The quotation about Sesame Street is not defamatory.
Post any trademarks, logos or righted material without the authorization of the owner;
The lyrics to Sesame Street are in the public domain and so quoting them is not subject to trademarks, logos or righted material laws.
Post any materials that may damage the operation of a computer (such as a virus, worm or Trojan horse);
A thread about Sesame Street will not damage the operation of a computer.
Forge headers or other transmission information in order to disguise the origin or your posting;
The origin from which I am posting has not been disguised in the Sesame Street thread.
Advertise or sell any goods or services.
Nothing is being sold or Advertised in the Sesame Street thread.
In light of the Terms Of Use that exist in reality I would ask for an explanation of why the post was closed and why such an action is legitimate.
