Hi. My name is Shie. I am 37 years old with 3 beautiful children. Keisha 20, Stephanie 18 and Randy Charles 16. They are the very reason I breathe today. I classify them as my heroes. I am also a proud grandma of a baby girl and boy.
I am a domestic violence survivor. Although I have survived my abuse, I still suffer at the hands of my abuser because I have a tumor inside my spinal chord caused from blunt forced trauma. It is inoperable and causes many symptoms that I must deal with on a daily basis such as; my legs can stop walking when I walk and I fall, my speech slurs at times while talking, I have no reflexes in my arms anymore and Im in constant pain most days. Im only getting worse as time goes by.
I also have screws and a plate in my neck for an old fracture in my neck which has failed to work. The dr’s want to redo my surgery, however I won’t go back under the knife for this. I won’t risk the possibility of going paralyzed again.
I am just thankful to be alive!
