If this is the case notice different races look at “pretty” in a different way. i.e. whoopi and that guy she was married to Lyle Trachtenberg, and the guy she is with now David Claessen. Not that she is unattractive but her beauty is not obvious.

yes! And I tried to make him think he had the wrong number and it didn’t work so I had to just get on the phone and tell him I’m not interested while he was begging and stuff, scared the mess out of me. He wouldn’t take no for an answer.

2007-10-10 16:47:47 on My dog keeps waking me up really early to take him for a walk by barking really loud.
I have taken him out 4 times per day, I have cut off his water at 6pm, I have sat with him, and played with him for 2 hours, and he still goes outside at 3 or 5 AM and does a dime size pee and no poop till 6pm.

like this one guy that lives across the hall from my sister. I was helping her baby sit and the guy asked to speak with me in the hall. I talk to him I thought his concern was for his kids so I gave him my number so my sister could still baby sit and get the money while she is giving birth or out on pregnancy leave. He took my number and looked up my address and was talking about how he is gonna leave his wife and come to my house and we will be together, come to find out he just got out of prison.

I don’t know if your problem is solved already but you could go to CEDA. Because you are in Chicago (I think) you could go to CEDA in Chicago= 208 S La Salle St, Chicago - (312) 795-8800= 6141 W Roosevelt Rd, Cicero - (708) 222-9667. One of those should be close to you. Also salvation army or local church might run the program (some churches run these gov programs for extra income from the gov when funds are low) they also help with renters ins. help with payment on your rent, water and gas bills. Here is another place Hope Community Services. The salvation army info should be helpful too. And if all else fails you could try cashcall.com.

now, I was going to tell you Fancy you said you were going to church and getting counseling. I have found when you do that the counselor pays more attention to how his actions are hurting your relationship rather than his problem. So in this case I would like to tell you about a book called THE POWER OF A PRAYING WIFE it tells you exactly HOW to get rid of the things in your life you don’t want any more, along with TD Jakes Reposition yourself. Not all Christians know how to pray nor do they all know what to tell you to do, actually most of them shy away from actually telling you what to do. The bible says “some come out ONLY by fasting and prayer” but no-one says WHAT to pray! I mean what to actually say. There is so much power in what we SAY. Eddie Murphy SAID every day to his grandmother “I’m gonna be rich and famous one day” Oprah said her biological father was God and because she really believed this she SPOKE as though she was rich from child hood! AND YOU CAN SPEAK HEALING TO YOUR SITUATION. P.S. you seem like a very strong person and after you are victorious over this situation, I will be so proud to say that I knew you could do it!

listen, I have the right to tell people how I have seen hundreds helped because of God. Sometimes we just don’t know how to apply LIFE and SPIRITUAL principals in order to benefit ourselves. People could come up to you and give you a religion book and it could be as foreign as Latin to you, but if you could just decode the message your life could be EXACTLY how you want it. It really is a method to it no matter what you believe these are principals that work every day. So if your intention is to stifle someone I suggest YOU go elsewhere because I would not have clicked to comment if I was not qualified. I am a certified counselor, I have a Masters in psychology, and I am a minister. With that said your outburst, and you sounding soo offended of my mention of God disturbs me. My goal is not to convert anyone but to inform you when needed of what you may be running away from. The RIGHT answer will always be the RIGHT answer whether you choose it or not.

2007-10-04 21:06:18 on Desperately needing advice
I gotta say that even though the loving him into good behavior WILL work, you still have the problem of him abusing your younger kids, be cause he could be doing this because he is jealous of the fact that your kids seem to have it better than him. Also he feels like he has no control over what happens in his life, and no one likes to feel like they are just “along for the ride” in life. Can you imagine how he feels having his MOTHER send him away, you can be sure the mother KNEW it would tear up your family. My concern is for your little ones, because he is not ken to these children he could hurt them or act inappropriately with them probably without remorse. The thing is he is angry with his mom and your husband (not sure that’s his dad) I personally would get the DNA test but use the information wisely and if it IS his son, I wouldn’t broadcast that I got the test(that’s just an argument waiting to happen). There is a bigger thing here…. Your husband didn’t ask and decide WITH you if it was ok to bring this teen in the house? That is disrespectful if that is the case. You all should have been in the decision as a family on if an addition should be added to the family or not. Would you not discuss it with HIM if you were planning to have another child together? Or would you just poke a hole in the condom? Same thing. Find other alternatives for the child to go, so when you present your case to your husband you can relay exactly what you need to happen, instead of arguing without a solution.(keep your paperwork for the test, for legal reasons. But not in the house if it IS his son) make sure you communicate what you are trying to do. “I’m trying to return our home to the peaceful place it once was”, “I’m trying to keep harmony among the children”, “this, this, and that is happening in our home causing chaos, I know you like it peaceful so what could we do to return things to the way they were before?”, “How do you feel about the change?” (then repeat his answer like you are thinking about what he said. Take a pause)then…. “well here is what I came up with that should work out for everybody” (boot camp, trade school, job cor, the child’s other living relatives, charity work(delivering meals on wheels to elderly)he would get paid min-wage, through Catholic Charities or Salvation Army. Or put him in a big brothers program.
2007-10-04 20:24:42 on Cooking question: Kebabs!
Sometimes cooks use aluminum foil to wrap the kabobs, however, if you have the proper brush on solution you could just put it on the grill without foil. The solution could consist of chicken OR beef (not both on the same stick cross contamination)green peppers fresh not wilted or they will burn, cherry tomatoes, if you are using chicken you can add pineapples, stout baby mushrooms (they are thicker and don’t dry out as fast) onion white onion is best or sweet onion for beef kabobs and then you brush on a mixture of butter (I can’t believe it’s not butter, or promise is best because it has a bit of an oil base and it taste great and it comes in different flavors so you won’t need seasoning) if you are really concerned about burning it use olive oil a dash of sage, pepper, garlic powder, seasoning salt (this stuff is powerful so the smallest amount), paprika, and I like to put a little cayenne pepper on it for that kick but if you don’t like spicey don’t add that but the secret is to turn it every 2 minutes it cooks fast so watch it! I am a lifetime member of Cooking Club of America you should check it out!

I don’t see this mentioned here but your husband needs your prayer and so do you. Let me explain, when a spouse acquires an addiction believe it or not they become “two” people metaphorically speaking. One is the person you knew and fell in love with and the other is an alter ego, some call it a spirit, but to put it in simpler terms an altered version of the original personality. The more dominant personality or the personality he stays in the most is the one that will decide what he does and how he reacts in different situations. This is the addictive personality, if at all we can separate the two and suppress the second in order to allow the first to surface (also called detox) and have him start a regimen of being in the original one just for an hour to start then increase it as you go along until he can go a whole day then go from there along with therapy of course. The prayer comes in because it will help with this process what ever you guys decide to do. But some people hear prayer and they say “yeah OK” but here is what to pray for and trust me it works and quicker than anything else you could try. Pray for strength, peace, wisdom, for his freedom of addiction, for a quick recovery, for healing for you and him. Then try to put some outside activities together like long walks after dinner or anything to take both your minds off of the situation so you are not constantly battling this, that can be exhausting. Next and this is going to sound funny, see him healed and well in your mind, if you do it right you could pull that dream into the present. People call this the law of attraction and it has worked for so many years, I’m sure you guys have heard of it it’s called “The Secret” look it up on the Internet, I’m sure there is some information about it. Now this is not a religion even though it derived from the old testament in the bible but what the authors of this book has done was took God out of HIS laws but all you need to know is that it works, I say this to let you know “every disaster can be traced back to a bad decision” and because we have free will we are free to make bad or good decisions. But as the best selling book says MANY are the afflictions of the richeous BUT HE SHALL DELIVER THEM OUT OF THEM ALL. Isn’t that good news? Who is the righteous you may ask? Any who believes on him.
2007-10-04 17:42:26 on i honeslty like sometimes feel like life is just so hard but then i see so many people here who are in pain also.
MEE TOOO NEDJUE!!! I hate sorrowful songs, I never listen to music when I am sad because I won’t be able to listen to that song again or I will get sad. But I digress, really find your own bliss that’s all I’m sayin.
2007-10-04 15:59:02 on I been with my boyfriend for about 2 years and I care
It is sooo alright, this could just mean you are bored with the relationship or him , or maybe he has become so predictable. This is usually when the girl or the guy cheats but you need to figure out if you are feeling like the relationship is already over in your mind. Or, you could just go out of town or not see him for a couple of weeks you know what they say absence makes the heart grow fonder. Always remember though you are young! commitment is a really big word for you so if there is an understanding that you guys are casual go out with some friends. CAUTION: he could have put your relationship on auto pilot….(mentally and emotionally checked out)
