  I urge you to research Mustang roundup rescues. If you could be a wild horse and be fortunate enough to survive roundup, being separated from your loved ones, and not sold to slaughter. Even then, its more likely you’d end up sold to rodeo for be used as a Bronco for Rodeo prize money. This would involve being spurred to bronc wildly, while the fat man on your back desperately hangs on to win a prize at your expense; then perhaps,the “love” of being owned might be obtained by a selfish rider who forces you into submission, to carry anyone while you support and endure the weight of saddle and rider with a bit in your mouth to steer you at their whim. rather than your own. Sadly thousands of Wild horses are rounded up and slaughtered for dog food and other. Each year, the government funds roundups, the few chosen to be adopted, rarely find loving owners. Even those few chosen as pets will be forced to live in confined quarters vs. roaming free. Spurs, m saddles, halters bridles, a bit to force me to go where ever can’t compare to freedom. Fact is, the government backs funding that allows, farmers and ranchers to take over more and more land claiming they “NEED” the land to raise more cattle and crops. I tell you this not to bring you down but in hopes you will join research to save the wild horses.
