Tampons work fine. Make sure you use a fresh one before you go in and change it when you come out. There’s no problem! That’s the joy of them, you don’t need to stop doing anything you’d normally do when you weren’t on your period.

Other than pointing out who Victoria’s parents were, and how she came to the throne, you’ve not actually added to the thread. The “two idiots” before you pointed out the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha aspect too, and where’d that come from? Her husband, Albert, the Prince Consort, which I’ve already mentioned, and you totally missed.
This site is about helping people who have questions or problems, not about wading in and insulting people who’re trying to help (and aren’t idiots, thank you so very much.).

Did you wait till the information bar at the top of iTunes (the bit that tells you how far along a song is) stopped saying “Do not disconnect iPod”? That can mess things up.
If all else fails, maybe you should take it back to the shop. It should still be under warrenty and it might be a problem with the iPod itself.

Go to the doctors, it might need steroid cream to treat it properly. In the meantime, calamine lotion will help with the itching until you see a doctors. You can get that without a prescription from a pharmacy.

When did you get it done? Have you had any weird bleeding patterns? My periods stopped straight away, it was the freakiest thing, gave me a bit of a fright. I suppose it’s odd, if you’re getting your period, you’re not pregnant, so as mine stopped it was a bit shocking. I did get a pregnancy test (to put my mind at ease, I knew I wasn’t) and the doctor told me to think “If I can’t have a period, I CAN’T get pregnant”, which does help.

Some people get spotting for the first few weeks, and then the occasional bleed before their due the next injection, but it’s nothing to worry about.
I know what you mean about the cramps. Time was my then-boyfriend was terrified of using “time of the month” as a cheeky comment because he knew that I’d injure him if he did! ****, I don’t miss having to spend 5 days in agony every month!

I’ve been on it for 4 years and I’ve never had a problem, but I never had issues with the pill either. I haven’t had a period in 4 years, I don’t get hormonal skin problems, PMT or have to shell out for tampons.
For me, personally, it’s been great. Just remember that if you don’t react well to it, you’re stuck for 12 weeks.

There’s no set “style”. If you try too hard, you won’t be punk, you’ll just be a poser. What bands do you like? Rancid? Social Distortion? Sex Pistols? The Ramones? X-Ray Specs? Depends on what kind of “punk” you listen to, because it’s a wonderfully varied genre and there’s something for everyone (who likes punk anyway). You could be into political punk like Propaghandi, pop punk like New Found Glory, ska punk like CapDown, ska-core like The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, aggro, Oi!, new wave, riot grrl, post-punk, emo (both the older and awesome stuff like Fugazi or Rites of Spring or the newer, more emotional, and less hardcore, stuff like Fall Out Boy) or any of the other 27 million (might be a slight exaggeration) sub-genres it’s spawned, each with it’s own trailblazing bands.

It’s about expressing YOUR opinions, the most punk-rock people I know are lecturers and teachers who’re giving kids new ideas and encouraging them to make up their own minds about their world. Punk ain’t a look, that’s a misconception that Hottopic use to their advantage to cheat millions of impressionable teenagers out of their allowance.

So to heck with the perceptions of punk, dress the way YOU want to dress, not to fit into a clique.
