Mini-Profile
![]()
I am a college student who is currently searching for a job and help with coping with difficult issues in my life. I am president of the College Democrats and Independents, member of the Phi Theta Kappa honours society, and member of Student Humanitarians. In two years I will have received a degree in international business and economics. I am an advocate for peace, international unity, equal opportunity, alternative energies, and true freedom. I am not a member of any political party or religious group. I enjoy many things but have little time to enjoy them. Most of my time is reserved for study. I love research and am passionate about helping society progress into the future. My dream job would be any job where I can work with evolving technologies regarding solar, wind, and hydrogen power. I believe these are the long-term solutions to our energy needs, not plug-in cars, nuclear energy, and biofuels. If I could, I would highly invest in companies dealing with those and would proudly work for them or to help pass legislation for these truly clean technologies. Even if one disagrees with the overwhelming evidence of global warming, one must admit that the US needs to back away from foreign oil investment. Oil is a limited, very costly fuel that is in rapid decline. The humanitarian effects of oil investment is shameful. There is a better way, a way into the future. I intend to be part of that future. When I am not overwhelmed with study and personal issues, I enjoy most the tranquility of nature. I love private walks in cool, crisp air where I can be alone in reflection. I do not like the sun strangely. I find its light too bright and its ultra-violet rays threatening. I admit, without the sun, there would be no life on this planet. The sun provides us with a balance of nutrients we need to survive. Too much of it is damaging and I don’t understand how people can tan so often. I enjoy stirring the senses with books, candles, incense, flowers, herbs, coffee and tea, music, cool breezes, and water. I enjoy star-gazing, especially when accompanied with a star chart. I enjoy most forms of music but prefer classical, dance, and rock. I am quite normal despite my unusual passions and high emotions. I think that although they can be burdensome at times, my emotions are what drive me. My emotions help make my character. While learning to embrace my character, I strive on bettering myself. I believe in constant progression and self-awareness. Only when society is willing to change for the better can progress take place.
