PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY …
My name is Robin, I have been married for 18 years, to my husband Mike,& we have 3 sons, Jonathon,Matthew & Jacob.
We live in Houston Texas,now after losing our home in Louisiana due to Hurricane Katrina,& its becoming more & more unbearable,as the months/years pass.We are still struggling to survive & to replenish all that we have lost.You would think after this long,we would be on the road to recovery, that we would be on our feet but we are not. We are so still struggling day to day for everything we get or need, we are struggling just to survive on bare essentials.
This is such a hard thing to do, when you have to start all over from scratch & to lose your pride,or what you have left of your pride, to beg and plead for help, any help.We have struggled in so many ways,with food,clothing,furniture,medical, just everyday needs that other people take for granted simple things poeple enjoy,we no longer have,that you would think should come so easy,but they havent.Like furniture, what little we have, we have found infront of someones home because they were throwing it away, clothes, we have worn till holes are coming in them, food, is sometimes just beans or what we can find & now we have the holidays coming & its so very hard to try & be happy, knowing that we are yet again, we are losing YET another home because we have been asked to move, due to our landlords son, wanting the property but we have to be strong no matter what for our sons sakes, sometimes this is so hard to do.I believe if they see their parents break then they will truley start to worry & wonder if it ever really will be o’kay, again.
We have to always try & remember to be happy no matter what, even when their is nothing to be truley happy about & to know that we are all safe & together, that after all is the most important thing…But sometimes, even that is not a blessing,sometimes we wish, that we would of been taken with our home, then we would not have to face all the heartache. Its just so hard to do anymore,so many tears,so much stress,the pressure,& the pain. That is why, I have came here today for Help, a plea for any help that can be offered to me & my family,a cry for someone to PLEASE give us help, where we can find another home & have the money to pay for it. money for a deposit, money to move in..Oh, God, we have NOTHING and its killing us. We live paycheck to paycheck,no savings of any type,nothing to fall back on,no one that we can beg for help from,no resources left,no churchesleft, that we have not asked for help from,no shelters,no food pantrys, no government help,no FEMA, we have tried everywhere & everyone, but we are always being denied, for this reason or that. Me & my family need your help desperately..Please any HELP? Suggestions, Financial Support,Prayer.. We need anything & everything that anyone would be so kind to offer.
We have no one to help us, my parents passed away in the Hurricane & my husbands parents live on a fixed income,no banks will help us because our credit was destroyed due to Hurricane Katrina, no churches[they are only able to help so many times, then that is all], no government help,we have tried them all. By the grace of God, I found this site, now all my hopes,dreams & desires are here.
