  I remember reading some quote somewhere about life being a series of peaks and troughs or hills and valleys or something and it’s true. Nothing lasts forever - not even bad times. Do what is necessary to solve your problems of the moment and look to the future when things are bound to be better.

  Your mother does sound annoying but also very well meaning. There doesn’t seem to be any doubt that she loves you and is concerned for your welfare. My mother used to annoy me to the point that I couldn’t even be in the same room with her at times so you can understand I have a lot of guilt since she died.
  
  I really think motherhood stresses some women out so much that they go a little crazy. I don’t know what you do. See less of her? tell her less about your life? be more tolerant?

  Alcoholism creates a kind of insanity - not only for the alcoholic but for everyone around him and especially for those who love him. You are exhibiting all the symptoms of co-dependency. I suggest you join Al-Anon for the family and friends of alcoholics and read the book “Co-dependency” by Pia Melody. But above all examine whether the “good times” balance the bad. Many of us have wasted our lives loving an alcoholic. Believe me it is not worth it.

• I have looked On-Line for a money making opportunity.
  

  Call me cynical but $15 per form sounds a bit too good to be true. I’d search the site for terms of service/use, conditions, etc, then print the pages out and read thoroughly. There are also sites online that review money making schemes. I’ve come across a few but can’t remember them offhand. A Google search will probably come up with them.
  
  You may have found something really good but from my experience the best way to make money is in the real world. Good luck with it all but be careful there are so many scammers around.
