If sitting him down and telling him how you feel doesn’t work then i suggest giving him a major wake-up call. Tell him if things don’t change you’ll break up with him. Say exactly what you want to happen, be specific, and if he still doesn’t get the message end it if you don’t think he has the right intentions.

maybe you don’t have to tell her directly. give subtle hints at it. flirt a little.

that makes it easier, it’s nothing you did. it’d be different if there was a solid reason, like you made them upset, but it’s a natural parent thing to try to protect their daughter.

Mine was great, I had liked this guy for about six months. We hung out the day before I was leaving for a one month vacation and he said he’d miss me. Best day ever! lol

Well if he talks about another girl then you know he is comfortable in some way with you and your bf. Of course it’ll still be a little weird, but you two have obviously found a way to put your past relationship behind you. And no, a month and a half isn’t too soon, not in my book anyway.

Kinda harsh, but creative.

I like him as a friend, nothing more. I feel like I’m leading him on by staying with him.

He might be afraid of taking the risk of asking you out. If things turn out badly there’s a chance of him losing you as a friend.
