  Shame bud, that really is a lot to deal with!! I have found that everyone on this site is really helpful and supportive, so ya - if there is anything I can do, shout to me. Suicide is not something you should consider, it really solves nothing. All it does is hurt the people around you! Just a thought, if you have that amount of money at your disposal, why don’t you look at helping out some charity that is close to your heart? I would advise one that helps people, and don’t just send a donation, actively go there and help out. When you see how much they appreciate it, and how grateful they are, it should uplift your spirits immensely! You say you would burn the money to bring them back? Wouldn’t your nephew feel the same way about you?

  What about just telling her the truth? As in: “Hey, I know this seems really creepy but there is no other way I can talk to you. When I met you, you seemed like a person Id really get along well with - any chance we could just pretend that I got your number from you the last time I saw you and go from there?”…I think it could work!

  I agree, “using all resources…” doesnt sound particularly romantic, but I meant it in a way such as: if you know she loves a particular song, singing it to her during a kareoke night out, even though you despise kareoke. I’m not looking for an idea for anyone in particular, I beleive everyone is unique. Im just trying to generalize a concept. So in generalizing: johnstc, your idea would be “making your fairytale dream come true” and erin yours would be “meaningful committment”. Would I be correct? Or has the lazy Sunday corrupted my mental faculties!! ;)

  I have a few friends who have experienced similar kind of stuff. I believe what you say, there is definitely a problem here. The friend I know who had the freakiest experience ( he woke up 1 night to find something trying to suffocate him), became a Christian after it happened. He hasn’t had any problems since, to my knowledge. I know a lot of people on this site will laugh at this post, but I genuinely believe that the only way to rid yourself of the problem is to solve this in a religious angle, more specifically Christianity. In short, I would get a local minister or something involved. If you are not particularly religious and would prefer not to go this route, I have some personal knowledge that I can share with you. But my knowledge is extremely limited, a pastor would probably be better.

  I dont know if this helps, but I was seriously into weed. I used to smoke about 6-8 joints a day, my family didnt know…my friends did-and they helped me out. If you really want to stop, you will find a way to get over it. Try taking a friend into your confidence to go for a “girls weekend” and rehab. I do understand your reluctantance to tell your bf though. You become the most creative person on drugs, if only to find a way to get your fix! Channel that energy into stopping!
