I’m never included in conversations and I’m always the last to hear about someone’s birthday party (which I’m not invited to). I’m what you’d call a Twinkey, or a whitewashed Asian. To Americans, I’m a foreigner. To Asians, I have too much American influence in me. So I don’t fit in with either world.
  And there’s this girl who I like that I know would never say “yes” if I asked her out. OK, so they normally go for athletes. I’m a tennis player, but what’s that to anybody? Here in hicktown, tennis means nothing. I have an ugly birthmark on my face and because of my 4.0 GPA, I’m considered a nerd.
  So I have to ask myself: who would care if I lived or died? I don’t seem to have much of an impact. Some announcement of my death would play on the announcements, and everyone would say, “Who is he anyway?”
  Am I really important to anybody? My parents always have their awesome, perfect little daughter and their niece and nephew. The “Virginia Tech Killer” would be dead and gone, and they wouldn’t have to worry about him going off and becoming a mass murderer.[/quote]
  
  are you the person who wrote this thread? you ask who would care if you lived or died? well I would!!!! just reading that made my heart ache, i wish you were where i am so i could give you a big hug and tell you its gonna be alright…
  
  but i dont know what to say, so maybe you don’t have a huge impact on the world. neither do i, neither does anyone i know. hell, NO one has a big impact if you think about it. if the president died tomorrow, would the world blow up? no. would the sky fall? no. he’s one of the most important people in the WORLD, but if he died, would the stars go out? no.
  
  there’s more important things than being rich and famous and knowing lots of people. this site right here is a perfect way to feel more important. i was feeling like a load of **** and feel suicidal, but i came on this site and there was a man who wanted to kill himself, and i had the experience to try and talk him out of it. so who knows? if i killed myself then maybe he would be dead right now, and his wife and children put through so much pain if i hadn’t been here.
  
  i’m not really sure what i’m trying to say… just that everyone is equal, and a big fancy title doesn’t make you more important than a 13 year old boy from “hicktown”. we ALL have worth.

  okay, i wasn’t going to post on this because i figured there’s no way i’m gonna convince you.
  
  but then i saw that you have a heart problem. a kid at my school DIED from swine flu because he had existing heart problems and they got really bad really fast when swine flu was added on top. if he had gotten vaccinated he’d still be alive.
