Sorry, it looked closed to me. But the responses I’m getting there are LAME. That’s why I reworded and gave me info on the other questions. So if I want another question with different wording, now, do I delete this question and repost a new/similar one?

I mean seriously, you couldn’t leave ONE of the questions up? ALL of them are duplicates so now I have NONE up? Do you hate me now because I showed you that I was ON topic in that other shoutout? Are you REALLY not going to let me post REAL questions when I posted REAL answers and HELPED SO MANY people? SERIOUSLY? Should I go to another admin and ask why you closed out ALL of my questions as duplicate not even leaving ONE of them?

You hijacked the post and then went and hijacked another post.

If you can’t see that, let me know and I’ll glady type out the whole sequence for you so that you can see I was responding to the POSTER’S remarks in HIS own post, even though the POSTER’s remarks were off-topic.

Only AFTER I responded to his off-topic remarks did the user “Times’*is gone*” reply to ME off the topic of the poster’s original question. So you see, I was ON topic because I responded to the POSTER’s OWN remark in HIS OWN POST even though he was off-topic. But the user “Times’*is gone*” was ACTUALLY off topic because the poster NEVER addressed an off-topic question to HER.

Yea, let me know and I’ll try to make it even more clear for you if you need that, thanks.

Well if you’re going to give me a warming for having a warranted conversation with the poster of this question, AT LEAST give that “economic collapse” girl a warning too.

And my comments were not off topic. Kaseyjohnsto, in HIS reply clearly stated “MAKE THEM SIGN A CONTRACT” in HIS OWN POST. So in effect I was NOT off topic because I was responding to the POSTER’S comment!

The “economic collapse” reply came AFTER your off-topic reply that hijacked the post.

HER response to me on HIS post was:

which as nothing to do with HIS question. She was responding to ME on someone else’s post, something YOU said did not happen. But as you can see, it DID. So please do your homework next time, thanks.

Hello admin. I respect what you are trying to do, keep the site clean, but if you’re an admin, at least do your job RIGHT because you are TOTALLY off. In fact, someone did give ME advice on someone ELSE’s post and I can prove it HERE:

The QUESTION posted by “Kaseyjohnsto” was:

After someone who DIDNT know what they were talking about said there was no such thing as free software like that, MY ANSWER (the ONLY good, real, and complete answer which answers his exact question and gives him the resource he needs) was:

“Yes, K, I have what you need. I would highly recommend a free contact management database website which has all you need. You can even configure it and change and add fields to suit your exact needs. You can find it at www.freecrm.com, and you’re welcome!”

And if I hadn’t given him that help, NOBODY else would have. So trying to be a good Help.com user, “Kaseyjohnsto” responded to MY posting asking for a way to protect my idea by non-USA contractors. He wrote:

“Make them sign a contract:) And thanks for you help with my question:)”

You see HE WAS THANKFUL BECAUSE I JUST GAVE HIM THE BEST SITE ON THE INTERNET FOR WHAT HE ASKED. REAL KNOWLEDGABLE PEOPLE LIKE ME ARE WHAT MAKE THIS SITE.

But even though he was trying to be helpful, his answer was no good, so I wrote him back on his question page:

“Well if they’re not residents of the United States, they don’t have to abide by the courts of the United States as far as I know. And even if I could sue them, there would be no recourse since they are out of the country, have no assets in the United States and are not United States citizens. Any other ideas of how I can protect a business/website idea while it’s being developed?”

So you see, this is a fully reciprocated and appreciated conversation between the poster and I. All of a sudden out of nowhere and with NO relation to answering “Kaseyjohnsto’s” question, this NEW person called “Times’*is gone*” BUTTED IN and responded to MY question on “Kaseyjohnsto’s” question page! She was INTERFERING with OUR conversation which had NOTHING to do with her. She wasn’t even addressing “Kaseyjohnsto’s” question!

YOU said “Nobody gave you advice on someone else’s post”, but as you can PLAINLY see, you are wrong. The girl DID give ME advice on “Kaseyjohnsto’s” post, and further, her advice had NOTHING to do with his question. So SHE was hijacking his post, and I was simply RESPONDING to her.

Exactly as I stated earlier. So please, if you’re going to give out “warnings” to people like me who are actually helping other people, do your homework first and make sure you have your facts straight.

Nobody gave you advice on someone else’s post but you brought the topic of your post to others in multiple replies - that is hijacking.

What do you mean warning? Who are you anyway? And what the hell? You mean that people can give me stupid advice on someone else’s post that doesn’t even relate to the question posted, yet I”M the one hijacking because I respond to them? No, sorry, I’m not sure I follow. I don’t understand this “hijacking” terminology given the circumstance I just explained. If you have something to tell me, I’m all ears.
