In california you can’t go to a state or UC university with anything lower than a c in a class.
There are ways of making them up the classes you bomed though.
Either retake it in your school, summer school, night school, or taking it at the local community college. You can take about as many as 2 classes and the class fees are waved if you are a high school student.

Since it’s a different state I would look at the universities website for requirements.

I think you both have a lot to work out. Dating someone for that long, they would have opened up to you. And you wouldnt need to be having to deal with them not talking to you about the cutting. It might take a little work, but they should be able to tell you. Just keep asking him about it.

First off make sure that he is actually doing that. I’ve known people who are all “i cut my self, im going to kill my self, you broke my heart so i cut your initial in my hand so you’ll always be with me blah blah blah”

He might just want the attention and the ability to know you worry. If he cried about you not going to prom with him, i dont think he could take the sting of a blade cutting into his skin.

And if he really is, tell him you are dating him so it is your business. Write him an email about what ever you want to say to him. He will read it. Guaranty.

Presure him about it till you break him down and you talk about it together.

If he cried when you said no i doubt he will dump you. You still need to be forward though. Maybe not those words, but you need to be forward and not feel guilty. Its not right of him to think you’re going after you’ve said no. You need to be honest and strict. And its very likely it will sound harsh, but you need to do it.

Be forward. Tell him you are’nt going with him and he needs to find a date if he doesnt want to be dateless. Tell him you havent bought a plane ticket, you arent buying a plane ticket, and you wont buy a plane ticket.

The point of dating is to see if that guy could be mr. right.
You wont find him just by looking at him and him being all “hi im _________” You have to go out there go on a few dates and see if this guy is some one you could have a relationship with. You can be picky, but when you dont even give the guy a chance thats just not gonna get you any where
