  I actually felt the same way as well. And I still wonder if there will be anything left from me for somebody to remember who I was after I’ll pass away.
  
  I just look at my parents, grandparents. Yeah, they are/were nice people and do/did nice things, but right now I remember them, but I am quite sure that my kinds won’t care about their grand grandma much. Like I don’t know much of my predecessors and there’s little left from them. It just seems that their life was quite meaningless and so is mine. Are we all here just to be born, live a bit and die? That’s seems so primitive and so sad.

  umm, staralfur, i like your positive attitude! :)
  i think u will be fine.
  i like it that your boyfriend is open with you and talks about that girl (well, he hid that about that present, but he probably just knew that it’ll upset u if he tells she’s joining), actually it shows that he wants to share his life and friends with you and wants you not to be suspicious about the girl.
  
  and i like that he wants you two to meet (he would never do it, if they were more than friends) and be friends. actually, that’s true, u need to know the girl (there’s a saying: keep your friends close, and the enemies even closer) u need to know what is she like ( u will definetely spot some bad stuff about her as well, which will cheer u up ;) ).
  
  and yes, look great, feel wonderful. dress beautifully and comfortable. be ur sweetest self and try not to have any quarrels with ur bf before her arrival(it can just make him want to complain about u and show her from in the best light)
  
  so be nice, be friendly and feel good about urself :)

  they say it may help:
  
  try to write a list of all the things u can do now: like watching on TV whatever u want, going when and whenever u want with ur mates, spending money on urself, flirting with any girl… %)
  
  remember her drawbacks, things which irritated u and all the bad things she’d done to u! (like persuade urself she’s bad and doesnt worth u, and there’r many girls better than her) :P
  
  get rid of everything what reminds of her :S
  
  find sth absolutely new in ur life: hobby, place to go, PEOPLE (when u hang out in a new company, it feels like another life). get active! :)
  
  get interested in other girls: chat about everything, flirt, try asking one on a date ( earlier or later u’ll fall for one of them ;) )
