Your best chance is Prosper dot com… you will have to agree to a credit check and have a checking account in good shape then I’d shop for a group as they have alot of support for you… otherwise in the current times on your own you will have quite a struggle…. if you join Prosper work really hard on wording your loan request… they want people who will repay and they want to invest in a quality project…. good luck…

I’d try modest needs dot org… but that will take some time and you need all your income verification plus any other documents ready to fax if they decide to take your case…you’ll need to join and they can only help with one bill… the draw back here…is… they can only help you once… if they pay your rent what about the next month… etc… they want to be able to get you back on your feet for good… but check it out… fyi… this is a site that will help you with info… but you won’t get any money from this site… guidance is all…plus our prayers that you find the help you are seeking… good luck…

Not really sure if this will help anyone out there and the laws change from state to state but here is what I found out when I was speaking with an Attorney here in Iowa about my Fema appeal…. I was upset that on top of everything FEMA was not doing to help me replace I got hit with an eviction notice and naturally the amount was for past due rent and court costs etc… I was about to have a nervous breakdown along wtih losing almost everything in the great Iowa Flood of 08.. the attorney told me to calm down… and listen…. he said according to Iowa law I can not be evicted for back rent amount if I pay the current month rent on time … any rent past 30 days you can not be evicted for.. it is under the law of peacable possesion law… I can be sued for the back amount in small claims though but not evicted..I don’t want to give anyone the idea it’s ok to screw your landlords out of what is due them and in small claims court they can still sue to get the rest of the money you owe them but it helps to know that if the law applies to your state you won’t be evicted… then you can make arrangements to pay on the back due amount owed after all they are deserving of that…check your state laws and see if this would apply in your state… hope it helps someone alittle…

I really don’t know how I can help you… Have you checked out Prosper dot com… you need an active checking account and they run a credit check then you are given a credit grade… if you are accepted then I’d check out the groups and find one that fits then join… they will give you great advice on posting your loan request… you might have to do it several times and maybe not… it’s not a fast fix for your problem but there is also a cyberbeg dot com you can join and literally beg for help… if you get it I can’t say but some say they have had some success.. you must have a paypal account and they are free to get etc… if you needs run into utilities or housing moneies then join Modest needs dot org.. and post a request for help… you will need to show why you need help with documentation etc.. if you can prove then see what happpends.. they help alot of people all over the US…. hope this help some…

try modest needs dot com… the longer you wait the longer it’ll take to get approved… apply to join,.. then ask for assistance… make sure you can prove that once they help you get back on your feet you’ll stay there… they can only help you once.. so get all your documentation together and good luck…

You sound like you should be able to get social security disability… I’d contact Binder and Binder and see what they can do…I ‘d also take all my documentation to the Electric Co. and see what they can do to work out a payment arrangement… I would think you might be eligible for Crisis money through LHEAP…. contact your local community action office… see if they can help you through this or refer you to someone who can… I know how you feel.. like you are on an island by yourself… if the other guy caused this perhaps he has some kind of insurance that would cover this and help with your bills.. I doubt if he’d like to get sued… you could inquire about it though… money is so tight with all the agencies now that our country is in such a financial mess… best of luck to you… as a last resort try Modest Needs dot org and see if they might be able to help… they have several big beneafactors who give big donations and they give out alot of grants per month… can’t say enough about what a neat organization they are… check them out.. join and go from there… you do need to document any request you make so make sure you can prove your need for what you ask for…

OK, this probably won’t help but while I don’t agree with what she is doing, since my mom has always had an open door policy for all of us kids when ever we need a place to live.. I would try the Y… they rent rooms to women on various terms,, nightly, weekly and I think monthly… if they no longer then perhaps they could give you some suggestions… as to whether she can still receive child support while you are in college is depending on her divorce or support decree… if she still receives support and you are not in the house.. then someone needs to file charges on her as that is fraud… she can not get support for you if you don’t live there unless he is way behind and owes back…don’t give up hope… if you should find a place and possibly need help with rent monies try modestneeds dot org..join and go from there… good luck to you…

You won’t find money on this site… we’ve posted and posted various sites to go for help.. you will find lots of scammers who will offer to help relieve you of your money and give you nothing… they love to advertise here… they are full of it… start looking around on other replies here… no hands outs here… try modest needs dot org… you will have to show proof of your need and then once they accept you post a request but you will need to show them that you only need this one time shot of help.. if this is an every month occurance then you need to go to a credit couselor and see what they can do to help you…

Well there is MODEST NEEDS dot org.. you must be able to document all your in and out going monies and prove your need….. first join and then post a request.. they are great at helping if they can… there is also a new place called payday patch dot com… you need to have a paypal account or get one before you join and then you can post a request…sometimes you’ll get lucky and get help…remember to not ask for more than you can help someone with yourself.. it’s a website to pay it forward… if someone helps you then you need to help someone else… but check it out… several on this site might want to think about checking out this site… perhaps we all can help each other out…like a community… good luck…

I would find out where you can sign up for LHEP or energy assistance… every state has it… your time is running out though… you should be eligible if you have no money or means of support… call your local relief or Dept of Human Service office and see if they can direct you to the office or look it up on the net… for your state… you could also join MODEST NEEDS dot org.. they will sometimes help… they will investigate you claim but you might get help from them too… good luck…

I would be interested in if there are no advanced loan monies… I would also want to know if money up front is required… in the US it is illegal to ask for money up front before granting a loan… Let me know and you can send me an application at jamei_matteson at yahoo dot com. We’ll go from there…

I can’t think of any place that will help you out with that amount of money… your best bet is to see if you can get payment plan with the electric co… or I’d take your aunt to court… she needs to be responsibe since you have 3 small kids… but legally I doubt if she ‘ll have to pay… perhaps with your tax return you can pay it down some… what a mess you are in… I’ll look over my list of foundations that help and see if there are any that might help you…

You need to apply for Energy Assistance as long as you have no income… they can get your power turned back on… I can’t figure out why no one will help you out long as you have no income… you should be eligble for food stamps etc. call one of your state senators and see what they can do to interviene on your part… you can also apply to Modest Needs dot org… they may help you with a one time grant… make sure you have everything like paper work to document you need…they are a great organization that helps alot of people… Seriously call your senators offices and see if they can help… that’s why they are elected.. to help out the people of your state… check out the LLEAP web site and they can tell you where to apply for energy assistance that will cover elect. gas or oil for heating… they don’t cover water , sewer, garbage etc… I’ll be thinking of you and if you need anything else this it the site to get answers… Good Luck…
