Maybe you need to take a break or a holiday and get away from it all. It sounds like you need more excitement in your life.

When I was thirteen I weighed more than you (about 15 stone). I think one of the things you have to do is to understand why you eat more. Is it for emotional reasons, boredom etc… this will help you to control your food intake cos you know that for example when you get bored your gonna wanna eat so you can try and occupy yourself some other way. Also, I joined Weight Watchers and that really worked for me. I last three and a half stone in a year. Also, its more important to maintain youur weight if your not losing atm than gaining cos then you’ll have less to lose. Good Luck!

Oh and I’m scared that i’ll frighten him away or make things awkward if I just tell him how I feel and he doesn’t feel the same, especially cos we hardly know each other.

It just seems that he talks to everyone else but me. There’s the obvious “Hi, how are you?” but nothing more. I just really don’t know what is going on.

Choose who you love. You might resent picking the person you don’t love because you dont have feelings for them.

Definately carry on with your medication and your counselling. I did and that helped me recover. Also, try doing lots of things that you enjoy. The only thing that you can really do is be patient. It took me three years to get over it.

I should also mention that when we are out he never seems interested in any of the other girls in clubs and I dont know if i’m really his type so im just concerned that he’s playin games with me

If u have doubts, then there is obviously something wrong!! Talk to ur partner about ur doubts and hopefully, u will either resolve everything, or u will realise that ur not meant to be together.

If he’s single, and u both have feelings for each other, then thats all that matters. I’m 17 and I have major feelings for a 27 year old colleague. Some people don’t approve cos of the age gap but does it really matter. As long as u get on and u both want a relationship, thats all that matters. Good luck!

No. U might be attracted to them for a few days/weeks/months but would u really wanna be with someone who is attractive on the outside but ugly on the inside. It wont last and will just cause heartache.

Can u not talk to someone at school. They might be able to help you and contact someone who can help provide ur mum with the help she needs.

In a way Im addicted to food. I’ve been tryin to diet but my family sit around me with fatty foods and when i give in and eat it, I feel so bad and as tho i’ve failed. I think the best thing u can do is remember how it feels to feel guilty and how bad u feel so that u dont behave in a way that makes u feel that way.
