• I live in a christian home and I have a wonderful boyfriend but I think I might be a lesbian.
  

  i know exactly how you feel. im currently in the same situation.
  
  ive grown up in a church all my life and im a christian. i have a great family and friends, but i also have a really sweet really great boyfriend. the only thing, is that i like this friend of mine, who is a girl.
  
  now, i may have more of an idea on if im bi, or lesbian, because i really truly like a girl, possibly more then my boyfriend. but also, i dont know if in fact that there is a girl that you like.
  
  what i can say, is that i totally understand where you are coming from.
  
  here is what i did… so i always talk to my best(girl) frend before we go to bed. so while we were tlakin i was like i have somehting i want you to know about me. i do infact understand that yes, i could lose you as a friend, but im risking it. im risk it only because you are my best friend and i want you to know who i truly am so i told her that i think im bi/lesbian. also that i like this one girl. luckily, she was everything but negative about it. she was like im shocked but hey, if thats who you are then its cool. she told me that shes friends with me, not my sexuality. and thankfully, it hasnt changed our friendship at all.
  
  
  after i was able to tell her, i slowly started tellin other really close friends of mine. now i dont know if i jus got really lucky or what, but all of my friends said the same thing, “thats cool”, or “if thats who you are, thats fine. it doesn’t bother me.”
  
  
  as for tellin your parents, im not sure what to do there. i too am stuck with quite the conundrum. on one hand, i htink my parents would be okay with it, but on the other i think they would freak out and send me somewhere for help.
  
  
  
  
  the 2 most important things i can say though, is that 1.. you owe it to your boyfriend to tell him, or at least let him know how your feelin and what you are thinking. i told my boyfriend that im bi and he was like okay thats cool. actually that makes things somewhat more easier.
  and 2…dont deny yourself who you truly are. its not something you can control. its a known fact that its in you x-y chromosomes that define if you are heterosexual or homosexual. if you truly think and believe that you are a lesbian, then go with it. tell your boyfriend and break up with him. i know it may hurt him, but he’ll get over it, and it a lot better then you hurting yourself by being with someone you dont have those feelings for.

  i know exactly how you feel. i’m in that EXACT same position. I started with telling my best friend and hoped that she’d be okay with it and support me. luckily she is supporting me, even though she doesn’t see how i could like girls. but my advice is to slowly tell the people closest to you and whom you trust the most. if they are TRULY your friends.. they’ll support you and love you no matter what. So you know.. my advice is exactly what i myself am doing.
