That seems really strange to me that someone would be mocked for hearing loss. Someone who does that must have a really bitter, unfulfilled, and disappointing life.

I know it has to be scary, the thought of losing your hearing, but you do have good people at work and a good boyfriend to help you with it. And if you haven’t already thought of it, you know have a completely legitimate excuse to ignore people who are annoying you lol.

I am lucky! But they are screaming for teachers over here… So, anyone who tries to be can be as lucky as me! This is on a contract basis. The plan is to spend 1.5 years here then change countries every year until I am sick of traveling.

There’s honestly nothing “freakish” about it. You’re having a problem hearing, so you got something to help you hear; that’s not weird, that’s smart and practical.

Personally, I think it’s really great that you moved towards fixing the problem after you got your answer.

Try not to think about it too much if your scared. Or if you want, downplay it a little. Just think of it as something to get you through your day, like a cell phone or money.

Anyway, I’m glad you got some kind of answer. Were you able to relax a bit this weekend?

Ups and downs, normal for anyone, we all have them.
I just have a few things going on that stresses me out a little, I think the main things beng I hate hospitals and I seem to be spending too much time there at the mo lol..
I have an awkward baby and my body hates being pregnant so t is expected really but not long left now before I can get back to normal (well normal as you can with a new born).
Other things are just things, I will survive :)
