2008-04-09 15:09:31 on If you could spend a day with one person dead or living who would it be?
I’m liking aimzers choices up there ^ RIP Casey Calvert.
But for me it would have to be a tie between:
Ryan Ross
Brendon Urie
Ringo Starr
John Lennon
Chuck Palahniuk
Pete Wentz
Frankie Iero
Mostly Ryan Ross and Ringo, though. I’d love to meet them.

^ I know for a fact Nine has tried that list and he’s in too negative of a mind set to write anything good about himself.
Nine, I know you’re overly attached to this quote “Love others as you love yourself.” but I will say this straight up- FIND YOURSELF A NEW ONE. Who says that one is accurate? Who says that is the one to believe? Obviously it doesn’t make any sense because those who don’t love themselves are perfectly capable of loving others more if they want to. People who are narcissistic and love themselves completely often don’t think about others all that much at all- so how does that quote even work? This isn’t the case all the time, but those who are full of themselves generally don’t make time for others.
Loving others is not based on whether or not you love yourself. Loving others is about whether or not you love the people around you. It has nothing to do with yourself, plain and simple. Quit focusing so much on the inside and reach out a bit. It’s ridiculous to base your love for others on your love for yourself. If everyone did that, there wouldn’t be very much love around. Most people have something they don’t like, or hate, about themselves. That doesn’t mean that they should hate others for it as well.
So, “Love others as you would want them to feel loved”. Keep that one instead, ‘kay?

What is the point to the question? What are you really asking here? You don’t plan on killing yourself and you shouldn’t plan on it. So why ask in the first place? Seems quite redundant, especially since most of the people on here don’t know you.
Honestly? I’d wonder how on earth and why on earth someone would post a death on here. This is a help site. What if someone was about to commit suicide on here and needed consolation, all it would be for them is a step in the wrong direction.
2008-03-29 10:16:04 on What are your thoughts on Rock Band?
I heard the guitar that comes with it isn’t too good, but we’re planning on getting it for PS2 so we’re using the Guitar Hero guitar instead. It’s supposed to be compatible. We also have mics for the PS2 so all we need to get are the drums and the disk. That’s why I’m wondering. You think it’s worth it? I’ve got half the equipment already.
2008-03-29 09:35:26 on Earth Hour is today!
My dad said he was planning on running the dishwasher and washing machine during Earth Hour- it’s more environmentally friendly (no one else will be doing it) XP
2008-03-29 09:33:21 on Earth Hour is today!
It’s a Saturday night, I’m not sure this was planned properly. Is it just the lights we turn off, or does everything electrical have to be off? Otherwise I’ll be bored silly.
2008-03-14 11:02:33 on I did not cut last night!
Hey, it’s really great that you didn’t cut last night. That can be really hard. So you deserve a HUGE congrats!!! I think you can keep it up. Great poem, by the way. Really beautiful.
2008-03-13 16:38:24 on Oooh, it’s my birthday.
Wish for something cool! That’s the best part.

Thank you so much for switching it.

You still don’t have the ‘f’! Please switch the ‘t’ to an ‘f’. It’s Pastafarianism.
And it’s awesome. A kid at my friend’s Catholic school doesn’t believe it’s a real thing, so he’s bringing in the book on Monday. I can’t wait to hear about it.
2008-03-13 15:37:17 on Religious preference?
Just letting you know, it’s “pastafarianism” with and ‘f’ not a ‘t’. I’m not trying to be rude, just letting you know.

Neo-Exponentialism is my own personal religion. It’s pretty much Christianity with a twist. The only real difference is a way of looking at things.
nine, can i join your religion? (of course then that would ruin it) lol, actually it sounds like what i believe, christian but different than any traditional interpretation.
this whole post is an example of why many people don’t like organized religion. almost by default, raising the issue results in a fight. bacon, though your motives may have been sincere you might as well just have pissed in everyone’s corn flakes. :)
“Christian but different” could be pretty much anything…as long as you had some imagination. It’s funny how you see something like that and automatically think it’s the same as what you believe. It could just be classified the same way…
2008-03-13 12:35:40 on Oooh, it’s my birthday.
*A very happy birthday to you!*
All the best

At least let people think they have a choice, rather than take everything from them. Most people would rather have a false sense of free will than none at all. Fascism doesn’t seem to go over well in most places. I think I would rather “dick around” with an election than have to listen to a total dick. But that’s just my preference.
Agreed, anarchy would not work. It just wouldn’t. People need law or else there would be chaos. It’s not so much you can’t trust people, it’s more the fact that there’s such a difference in peoples’ views that it just wouldn’t work. People fight over the smallest things, but what would it be like if there was no system of governing? People would get shot for believing differently than certain groups of people. That’s how anarchy would work. I know you say you don’t agree with this kind, but when you tell people you support anarchy, they look to the worst. They don’t immediately think “oh, he’s meaning the kind where people trust people and look out for others”. They think “that guy is anti-government. He’s into vandalizing and not listening to law or reason”. I know that’s not what you are going for here. That’s just the general thought people have on anarchy.
Anyway, democracy works to an extent. There will always- ALWAYS- be corruption, no matter what. People are corrupt. Government can be corrupted. Believe it or not, people are not just ‘nice’ for the sake of being nice. It doesn’t matter what type of government. You can’t blame it on that. Blame the people. That’s just the way we are. Corrupt and destroy. Take over. Arms race. “I’m better than you because I have this-”.
It sucks. But you know what? People are dicks. Live with it.

What? Pastafarianism isn’t up there? My friend Ryan wouldn’t be pleased…he has the book and everything! XP I’m kidding with you. The whole thing’s a joke.
