2012-03-01 06:42:40 on Can I shoot the cat that keeps coming in my yard with a airsoft gun?
While I acknowledge that it’s not right for stray cats to be coming on your property and attacking your cat, it’s unwise to expose a clawless cat to the outdoors and expect it to be safe from peril. Essentially, you’re exposing an utterly defenseless animal to a world in which predators abound. By taking away a cat’s claws you’re in principle depriving it the ability to climb trees to escape predators and the ability to defend itself against enemies. Tom cats are known for their tendencies to be a nuisance and cause trouble with family cats. It is in their nature. What are you going to do if you get rid of this tom cat and another one comes along? Or even worse, what about a dog that hates cats? Your cat cannot fight back or climb trees to safety. The only element of safety your cat has is inside your home.
2012-02-29 13:01:10 on the world is full of people who hurt others because
It’s unfortunate for the victims, or the people who are hurt, because it is sometimes difficult for them to see through the malice and coldness and ascertain the real problem - insecurities.
2012-02-29 12:43:05 on Am I being unreasonable?
I think it’s natural for you to be uncomfortable with the idea. However, trust is the mainstay of a relationship, and as long as you trust him not to let his acting role get confused with reality then it shows you’re willing to believe he’s not going to do anything that would hurt you.
2012-02-29 11:45:38 on I really do think im going insane
Don’t worry. It’s my experience that we are all insane to some degree. Ironically, psychologists are not as sane as one my think either.
Well let me tell you! I can’t figure out why they don’t let me leave this building full of crazies!
I’ve often wondered if it is possible for a truly insane person to be conscious of their own insanity.

I’d wager to guess they think by surrounding you with a multitude of crazies that you will eventually see yourself as one of “them.”
2012-02-29 11:28:01 on how do you get a guy that you like to stop following
Tell him he’s being creepy for following you and that you do not like creepers.
2012-02-29 11:22:14 on How do you get rid of a stray cat?
The most effective way would likely be to have it taken to the animal shelter. If you prefer not to go through the trouble of trapping it and taking it yourself then you can have someone from your local animal control center do it.

Perhaps you could tell him you are currently in a relationship but appreciate his interest. Another suggestion would be telling him you are only interested in girls. Of course, both of those involve lying, but that may be easier than politely telling him you are not interested.
2012-02-28 20:43:49 on my supervisor is a real jerk when shes on her period.
Avoid her when she’s on her period. Alternatively, you could furtively slip some PMS medicine in her coffee in the morning.
Math is not my strong point either. I imagine you would like to get through these 7 other classes in order to move on to your bachelor’s degree as soon as feasible. Personally, I would rather take the math class now and put it behind me so that I wouldn’t have to think about it again. But at the same time, I think you should consider your current cirumstances and judge whether you can manage the class in the face of possible setbacks and troubles. I believe you can manage it, but it would surely be advisable to calculate the risks involved before deciding on the matter.
2012-02-24 22:37:35 on I’m feeling very low and confused and depressed n heartbroken.
I think you did the right thing by getting the police involved. Evidently your neighbor has a bad temper that cannot be controlled and resorts to destructive behavior when pushed too far. Anyone who is in a relationship with him should feel threatened by his behavior and actions, and rightfully so. Your love for him is more than likely generating the second thoughts. Love has a strange way of clouding one’s vision to see and make sensible choices concerning one’s best interests. But in hindsight, I think you will realize that you made the right choice to distance yourself from this person. It’s very important that he finds help for himself before he can even think about earning your trust and love again.
2012-02-24 19:00:20 on Which should I have right now: Oreo cookies with milk or Cocoa Pebbles Cereal?
Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever tried Cocoa Pebbles. If I did I don’t remember. Is it the cereal that tastes like chocolate covered rice crispies?
2012-02-24 18:43:30 on Which should I have right now: Oreo cookies with milk or Cocoa Pebbles Cereal?
I vote for oreo cookies with milk, but on one condition: the oreos have to be double stuffed. ;-)
2012-02-24 18:39:12 on does he like me?
Perhaps you should try talking to him. The best way to find out if he likes you or not, without directly asking him, is to have a casual conversation and see if he expresses any sort of interest in you. He may provide indirect signs through his language indicating he likes you or he may be forthright about it and just tell you he like you in no uncertain terms. Regardless, you are liable to have a better chance of discovering whether he likes you by talking to him.
