One day, I was walking down the street when I was quite young. I found an injured dove and brought it home. My mother didnt want it in the house So I made a cardboard box lined with shredded paper towels and put it under a pine tree in the yard. I woke up the next morning to go care for it and I found a bloody mess. My cat had mutilated and eaten it.
The moral of the story is this. Bad shit happens.
