Nope, its not as simple as the post just disappearing. It goes a little like this;
1: Poster makes post.
2: You edit post
3: You don’t report the post to us.
4: Other people report the post, along with reporting you for your edit.
5: Mod comes along, reads the post, and takes action on the OP.
6: Mod then has to audit you, to see if you have been editing other posts.
7: Mod then has to make decision what to do with you. And then ban/warn/shout the person.
8: Mod then has to mark of the reports, of which half were not even needed. But unfortunately created by you simply editing a post which you didn’t have to do.
So what have we learnt here today?
Simply report the post in question, and wait for a mod to deal to it. Nothing else. Easy enough.
I’ll be glad if you come back here Rowass, and I wish you luck in the girlfriend department but your a cool guy and I doubt you’ll need it, compliments aside I think your wrong about your weary attitude about help.com I thinlk alot of good people still come here, and I think we still have a chance.
I cant convince anyone of anything really, but this place has heart, it brought alot of people out of hard times, gave some friends to people who needed them, supposedly saved some lives, and atleast gave people something to do.
Sure its a bit sucky now, but it’ll turn around, just needs some people to stick around long enough for it to happen.
