My heart goes out to all who have posted on here. I too am at a loss of how to tell my children that Santa will not be visiting our house this year. I have 5 children, my 3 teenagers understand but I have 4 year old twin daughters that do not. My heart breaks everytime they ask if it’s time for Santa to come soon because I know I can not afford to even put one single toy or article of clothing under the tree for them this year. often I just want to cry because they look at me with bright, hopeful eyes and ask when Santa is coming. I have tried to explain that Santa might not be able to come to our house this year, but they do not understand. I will keep all of you in my prayers, it is a hard year for many.
