  ok…for hockey…
  
  think of a player about to make a shot. the puck is stationary on the ice. imagine how the player takes a swing at it. first he raises the stick, using energy from his body to raise his shoulder. then he swings and makes contact with the puck. when they hockey stick makes contact with the puck, the puck moves forward and slides across the ice. so basically, the energy was transfered from the players shoulder, into the hockey puck.

  piercings get infected for any reason at all. if your hair is too long and it rubs on it, oils from your hair can collect around the piercing and then the oil attracts baterica..also if you smoke and touch the piercing, thats bad too.
  
  go to the piercer and have it taken out.

  think of a child on a swing. when they reach the highest point they can, they stop for a split second and then start moving in the other direction. also, by moving their legs, they are creating more energy that transfer into the swing itself and makes it go higher and faster. if you sit completely still on a swing, it hardly moves at all right? it just goes back and forth really slow. even the slightest movement changes the swings momentum.

  There is some sort of depression that you might have. Its called clinical depression and it comes on without warning and sometimes (most times) you dont even know why you feel sad. I think its one of the hardest to deal with because you dont know what to do to make yourself feel better. I know that your mom means well. But maybe there is some other way of getting help. Try talking to the nurse or guidence at school. yes they will call your mom in but i would bet anything that youd get the help you need. you may have to start taking some sort of anti depressant. just to balance things out. odds are you wont be on them for long though.

  Okay…sorry it took so long. This website was acting up.
  
  There are many places to get help. The first step is actually in the blue pages of the phone book. Its a 800 number and its open 24 hours a day. they can help you find someone to talk to or if its bad enough, suggest going into the ER and getting help. I think that the very first step for you would be to talk to your parents. I know it sounds hard, but sit them down and say something like, “I know you may find this hard to believe, but I think I need help. Sometimes I feel like hurting myself.” I dont know what your family situation is at home, but if its something thats been on your mind you really need to take some sort of action. You are only 16. I remember that age. You have your entire life ahead of you. And i know people probably say this all the time, but it does get better. I promise you that it does.
