This may sound dumb, but have you ever gone to an AA meeting? I used to live with a man who had alcoholic parents, and eventually went to some Al-Anon meetings trying to understand. I was so impressed by all of the heartfelt testimony and people’s responses, that I walked out of there feeling like I’d been in church (in a good way)! It’s a beautifully designed way to get help and support.

In this case it was an elderly aunt who had been in pain for years, so she is out of her misery anyway. And I’ll get to see cousins I haven’t seen for years.

Fantastic to hear from you. It is uplifting to see you are doing well and life is ever changing for the better.
Some little misshaps will arise from time to time but I see you are not letting them overtake your life.
It makes me happy that you have your daughter with you part time, definately sounds like you needed and deserved this something special in your life.

I noticed you were online a few hours ago. Next time you visit, I would love to hear how you are getting on. Or just a hello, will make me feel so much better.
