  If A situation was bleek or disturbing I’d drink my way through it, cause another calamity and focus on that one while not dealing with the more dificult, or character based ones. Such as giving a bleep about feelings.
  Anyway, it’s all getting better and I hope the girl turns out to not be pregnant and awakened to how big-time her life would have changed and how difficult the life of the child would be if that little person had to grow up the child of teen pregnancy.

  Okay, My bad. I guess because I’d been a drunk for so long that some of my common sense is still a bit insensitive. I appreciate the nudge.

  Okay, now knowing she is 15 she needs to know several things before she makes her decision.
  1, If she is or is not pregnant.
  2, She needs to be reminded that this situation could have been avoided had she asked him if he was going to wear protection. The old argument about sensitivity being lost when the condom is put on is lame. The male is visually aroused and if he thinks he might not be able to sustain then it is not something you can both enjoy.
  3, a D and C or an abortion does have negative after effects. the scraping can affect future pregnancies.
  4, Many women who have had abortions have regretted it and many who have kept the pregnancy to term have had major life altering experiences when faced with giving the child up for adoption or giving up aspects of thier own life to raise this child.
  Even though I was born in 1959 and abortion was illegal then doctors with a wink and a nod whispered about “bringing about your cycle”. My mother had a history of 4 sons and lots of hemmoreghing. She didn’t need a 5th son and especially one 10 pound 3 oz.
  5, Would help her as he decides whether to go on to college in 2 years or would she look to the govt’ to help with welfare which is in itself a prison sentence. (talk to anyone who has tried to leave Govt’ care)
  I wish her well and hope whoever takes the lead in helping her throughout this decision making process makes sure she talks with women who’ve taken the many varied paths. She’ll be a much better person for this experience and my prayers are with her.

  So my reply is Horse***! That’s interesting. Let me see you judged me and my response rather quickly didn’t you? The information about her age didn’t come about until after my post.
  You may have made the same mistake the girl did. Acting and assuming before knowing.
  My post was made believing that if you don’t care enough to ask you are willing to accept all outcomes.
  My children had the talk about responsible actions regarding sex. Both son and daughter. From me as well as thier mom. It was important that both of us talk with them because you can’t speak as one voice to children/ young adults about sex because there is a male and a female perspective.
  I don’t expect an apology. I did expect a rush to criticize by someone who themselves didn’t read the thread. If you drive drunk and crash do you expect support. If you create a life and could’ve prevented the situation by just
  acting responsibly beforehand shouldn’t you?

  Hi, I know its long ago and my posting will probably only serve to dredge it all up again so let me begin with “you have my sympathies”.
  
  There are always going to be people who will amaze us with thier depravity. I am a recovering alcoholic. My biggest trespass upon other people was taking thier lives in my hands when driving drunk. Nowhere but nowhere in my conscience could I ever condone a thief. I don’t want to debate “les Miserables” and stealing food because this circumstance was in an office setting and more than likely some guy wearing a tie cut open a package clearly not his and knowingly took posession of it as his own.
  
  Now I don’t want to go Saudi on him and sever his hand but rather that he be publicly ostracized.
  
  “Yo, May I have your attention please. It has come to our attention that Joe Blow here has taken someone’s property and tried to make off with it. If not for the brow beating by these two decent folk here, this @#$%^ would’ve kept the item and it is for the good all of us here to know that Jope Blow here is a thief and now unemployed!”
