well, the mod here told me CBS took over this site and it went downhill. And, the mod was very civil and mature in the comments made. Live with that…

believe me Bear, don’t come here anymore because of the combative atmosphere here. The negative comment on a post from a mod here that was over a year old, proves my case.

bottomline, just not a fun place to come too anymore…so devisive and negative…

anyway, we will always be friends and at one time, we had a lot of fun here. Remember Electron4000…she was a hoot.

know you don’t want to get into this comment Bear, but it is hard to believe the people that Cnet allows to fun this site. It is shameful…but, i don’t have a “dog in this race,” just stop here occasionally to say hello to old friends. Just a negative comment on one of my post that is over a year old from a mod here. Not going mention names, not worth my time.

you got it wrong my friend the site has gotten to young and immature. It is a damn shame there is no decent admins to look after the place. I’m not sure if there is any hope for this site. I hate to see such a good place go down the tube. It’s not like it was 3 years ago.

Yes Bear, wish we could convey those days to these young people of today. Would not want their World. Much tuffer than ours. Wish I had stayed on the farm many times…it was a good life.

The world as we knew it has gone forever unfortunately. All we have left is the Andy Griffith show to remind us of the good old days. I wish I could go back and do it all over again.

When using IE7 you can clear your temporary Internet files, your cookies and history also your form data and passwords.

It is best to clear your Temporary Internet files and cookies ONLY.

At the top of the page click “tools”, scroll down to Internet options and click it.
Under the general settings tab you will see “Browsing History” and two buttons, “delete” and “settings”, click onto “delete”.
It is here that you can delete your Temporary Internet files and your cookies.
Doing that once a week will keep your computer uncluttered and you won’t loose all your passwords etc..

My knowledge of computer is, limited…but, I’m learning. My computer freezes up often. Run my spy sweeper almost daily. It always showed some cookies that are causing problems. You quarantine them and it get better.

The e-mails are normally slow to open because the e-mail host wants you to see all the advertising that pops up. That has been my experience, and I have not found a way to get rid of the ads either.
