• I’m in love with my best friend.
  

  I’ve avoided her most of the week. I wanted to go all of Friday without seeing her, though she ended up coming to one of my classes. She’s making too much of an effort not to lose me during these times with him. But I’m so happy for her, she doesn’t show it, but I know deep down inside she’s happier than I’ve ever seen her, and I don’t want to come between it all. I don’t want her to occasionally have to force herself to choose me over him out of obligation, I’d rather see her with him and keep my distance from both than me be thrown into their affairs [which she tells me about often] and have to suck everything up and smile and pretend [for the most part] and whatnot. She keeps messaging me and whatnot saying she loves me [not in that way] and she misses me, but I can’t help but feel she says it only because she knows it’s what I want to hear. I know she really doesn’t, how can she when her life’s going so perfectly? I don’t buy it [though I’d love to] and this is where I stand now. =\ And I miss her like crazy, beyond words can describe. But this is better for us- or for me I suppose.

  Study. Keep from being distracted. Revise a lot. Study some more. Make lots of nerd friends and call them whenever you need help. STUDY. Do not procrastinate.

  So school’s started, and I’m finding myself losing my mind. She’s with him all lunch [lunch periods that were previously all mine] and for a while after school. Still, at the same time the first two days she paid much attention to me, called me once, skipped a period with me, but honestly, I am so sick to my stomach seeing them. They will never break up, of that I am sure because she loves him so much and he’s a very sweet guy. All i could shove into my mouth on Monday was a candy cane for lunch and apple afterschool, otherwise I’ve had absolutely no appetite :(
  
  And yeah I can’t just ditch her I’m figuring, like forget her, and I can’t tell her, but I am finding it easy to avoid her around school but through this I’ve also ended up avoiding some of my other friends [because I’m worried on the off chance her and her boyfriend might be with them]. On the plus side, I’ve noticed whenever I’m down I get really active- physically, I’ve been going to the gym and whatnot and really pushing myself in that aspect. But whatever haha, that’s a trivial detail.
