I am a single mom of 2 sons; my oldest son was recently diagnosed with terminal Pancreatic Cancer…he is only 36 years old.
He and his new wife have moved in with my younger son and I so we can help care for him and be with him.
The increase in expenses (utilities, groceries, supplies, medications, necessities, etc.) is stretching my income alone to support our family of four. This has caused me to fall way behind in my rent. My landlord is saying we have to bring the rent current or we have to move out.
I don’t want to move my son while he’s doing chemo and radiation treatments and feeling so weak and sick. I also don’t have the required move-in fees to move into a different place.
I’m asking for financial help to pay our past-due rent so we can keep my son in our home where he is comfortable while we struggle through this impossible hardship.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, and I will help someone in the future when we’re back on our feet and doing ok.
