Well, let me share with you a semi-secret. I am transgendered which means, basically, I was born physically female, but I’m on my way to being physically male. I’m socially trying to become neither. I know it’s kinda weird. But, that’s why I thought your avatar and reason was cool. I’m doing the same thing I you’re doing, but I’m kinda taking it much farther, I suppose.

ah thanks..Please don’t think I am stupid but I have been seeing this house in my dreams from a long time now and just recently saw in a magazine that this is actually a house in PA. And it’s exactly the same house I see in my dreams..not “like it”, but it’s exactly the same. Well..don’t know what that is :D

wow I just read the awful advice you got on your selling-computer post. Anyway, I’m grateful for all the times you thought of me, so I invited another cello-player (who is really a great person) to your latest post, maybe she’ll have some useful thought.

If you have an old computer you think you can’t use there are things you can do. Make a Tivo like device (search google) use it for a “jukebox” to stream or play music through the house, donate it to a church or school or some other charity/family that could really use it (you’ll get a great feeling believe me helping others).

The problem solving involved and the technical planning and set up are fun.

Dealing with upset customers is not so fun. Getting money off clients is not so fun (unfortunately your best clients usually turn out to be the worst at paying on time).

Being called in the middle of the night to authorise something (like switching serving form Tampa to San Francisco) because your staff don’t want to be accountable when that’s what they are paid to do, is annoying.

When things go wrong and its your fault or you make a silly error that causes days of issues are annoying.

Overall its fun. And it pays for things like brand new MacBook Pro’s and pre orders for Mac Book Airs with SSD drives.
