U of Illinois at Chicago is in a very cool location. I drove by it just two days ago. Good luck on making your decision. I know how tough it can be! :)

: ) Chicago is the best city in the World! What school are you looking at for you grad program? Whatcha want to study? I actually moved to Tucson six years ago for a grad program, dropped the program, enrolled in another and decided to stay a while. I would highly recommend Chicago. I have never met a person who has came here who didn’t love it. All though, the winter can be a little cold.

I am moving from Tucson to Chicago. The movers came for my stuff yesterday and I leave on Friday, so as you can imagine my time here will be limited too. I am doing ok, exhausted, but ok. I am glad to hear you are doing good!! :)

You know I forgot to mention in it that when we left for our date my husband crushed my bird in the door and my clutch bag fell in the coy pond there at the restaraunt and I tried to get it and slipped on the alge! I looked the the creature from the green lagoon. I wonder if I should add that. But maybe its too old.

Did you see when dead animals attack? Its all true. I still cant believe my luck. It is unbelievable. If you haven’t I’ll send. Get a tissue, I swear you will cry laughing.

Helping people…Most of my time is spent helping/consoling people. Friends, family. I’m everyones personal therapist and I’m sick of it. I’m done with putting everyone else first.

Thanks, but I fear that I have ears of stone, at least as far as French is concerned. I would have preferred Greek or Latin, but they weren’t offered. Strangely, I seem to pick up Spanish a lot more easily now.

I speak English and can translate French with a dictionary. My university education was not wasted!

You speak Italian and Spanish? That’s pretty cool, though.

Yeah, it’s way expensive, but it’s way worth it if you can. No, no. No offense taken. I hope that you didn’t think I was making too big a deal out of it. It was just a funny occurance, as Max is always making fun of me and she would have definately found it amusing had she been there at the time. Anyway, I did respond to your post, lest anyone else…especially Evangiline… think I am totally nuts. There are a lot of crazy people on the internet!

It is interesting to see that it had such a profound effect, however. I (the allegedly obsessed one) had actually forgotten about it. It’s quite funny in retrospect, though. Your face certainly does seem to cause trouble. Troublemaker!

I do, Katie, but I have not watched LOST since the strike break. I’ll have to catch up once the season four DVD’s come out! I look forward to that every year anyway :)

There’s no definition of Christian heretic. It just means my beliefs don’t fit into any Church, at least not so far. I have a problem with the concept of hell. Maybe there’s such a thing for mass murderers, but to compel people to believe because we’re all out of God’s favor seems severe. Even dictators don’t torture people for minor faults.

The novel wasn’t humorous, at least not often. It was a rather bizarre dystopia and is officially “out of print”. I should take that out of my profile. But thanks.
