  A radio celeberty in Chicago who I knew some years ago before he retired told me how his wife of 50 years just had a terrible car accident ,leaving her disabled.He than said something I never forgot.He said he was convinced that everyone gets the same amount of “tough breaks” over the course of their lifes.Some get a little everyday,some every month and than there are those like him & his wife .50 years of great love ,never without a job,great family,now just when they thought they had it made to retire and really enjoy fully life this catastrophe ,now he said it was their turn to carry their burden.There’s an old saying “The grass is always greener over the septic tank”.

  From what you have said you’ve lived through a great injustice.Over 21 years ago I lived through a terrible injustice ,this also brings disgrace with it.I found comfort in the words “The eye of the Lord see’s everything”.I found comfort in these words because I knew that My Heavenly Father knew the truth.I than learned and began the process of focusing on God.It didn’t matter what “people” thought of me,only the Lord .By doing this it didn’t mean I didn’t care what my wife & children and friends thought of me.On the contrary,those who really loved me for the right reasons were blessed and drawn even closer,those who were just using me & abusing me were now seperated.By putting God first He will put you first.Over the years that followed I proved by how I carried this injustice my innocence and the Lord Himself actually dealt with the evil accusers and did so in such a way that they lived to regret their wrong doings.Out-class (through the Lord)your enemies,let Him do your fighting,He’s never lost a battle yet.You now choose ,either this injustice breaks you or “MAKES” you!   Dear “The clue” Thank-you for your input.Where ever are people involved such a request is not out of place.If even one person prays earnestly it could help.Isn’t this site entitled “help.com” ,I apoligise if it offends you personally ,but I do feel the majority of folks will “help”.I havent read where the defination of help is defined on this site.Thank-you though.

  If your married to this person try and work it out.If its a living arrangement than get some space and regroup.They say if your in a barn long enough you don’t realise the smell of it anymore and only once you’ve gotten out in the fresh air and cleaned your lungs out and go back in do you really recognise how bad the odor really was…get some fresh air…regroup…pray!

  Dear Friend; I have experienced your situation in my own life.My girl friend left me and when she left so did my life. I learned that prayer was all I had,I know that sounds perhaps lame,but one does’nt really get to know God till God is all you have. I prayed & prayed,even after finding she was supposedly engaged to someone else.One day she came to me and asked if we could talk,within a week we were engaged ,that was over 32 years ago ! We’ve been happily married ,with 3 children & 5 grandchildren….PRAYER WORKS!

• I hate my life sometimes.
  

  Just like in nature.Where I live we have the 4 seasons,in the long winter everything looks lifeless ,its nature in its dormancy stage.Yet when spring comes and the warm sun shines the dormancy is overcome by the warmth and that which appeared dead or dormant comes to life and this process even brings beautiful color into being and a fresh aroma in the air.We all tend to go through patches of winter but just as in nature ,spring has never failed to come ,hold on.Some poster said leave religion out of this.Every human being has a soul whether they acknowledge it or not.Everyone also has a heart & stomach and so on ,just as these other parts that make up a human beings existence and must be cared for so must the soul,through prayer and seeking that nearness to our creator,there’s great joy & strength in doing so,don’t dis regard this means for an everlasting “spring”.Your Friend Samoasteve

• I just went public about my whole depression thing, I hope it wasn’t a mistake doing this… Here’s what i wrote:
  

  Dear Jinx: Just wondering,How are you doing ? You are someone that must have a special future ,they say injustice is the greatest teacher and although you do blame yourself for alot I sense there’s some underlying things you’ve had to be the victum of.One thing that helped me (regardless if your religous or not )and that was when I was told by my Minister “Christ died for your sins” ,he went on to say if God has forgiven you ,YOU MUST FORGIVE YOURSELF ! Let go of the un-necasary burdens & mistakes of your past,learn from them but don’t live feeling you must pay a price.That bill was paid in full by Christ!Please let us know how you are doing!
