Pacific and SEAsia. Was working with locals so got a real taste for the places. NOt so much shocking, but just lost my romantic dreams that somewhere there was a perfect happy little comunity. THey were great, but people are people the world over.

What you said made sense, must be something strange about me haha. Knowing, even if its bad, is often better.

I hear you about “no training”. It was only when I started traveling a lot that I realised that “primitive” cultures actually do offer training in these areas, and whats more, it useful training, not like the crud I got from sex education and some christian school councillors. Even my Italian friend got taken aside by his uncle and got told the basics about relationships with women. Ah being male middle class and white :-)

Annnnyway, happy to hear whats up with you and people if you want to share. My refuge is walking up hills, riding motorbike( can’t hear passenger), working in construction ( too noisy ) and working in non English speaking countries. Sure its a bit cowardly, but its better short term solution than the alternatives.

I talked with people who think in picutes before, it’s a strange concept for me, but very cool. I use to only think in words and diagrams, but after some big efforts, I can now think in music and pictures as well.

Hey…Now I feel silly…I didn’t realise we had one shoutbox each; now what’s the sense in that?! I’m sorry for the misunderstanding; entirely my fault.

Fever has gone, but sleep pattern still AWOL.

Just been reading through your shouts (couldn’t finish it because my ego was getting too dented!!!…you’re posts are wayyyy too good Masha-Allah!)

And now I’m understanding why he invited me to his wall…(I don’t recognise the usernames though…how many email accounts do you have exactly?!) Haha!!

It’s 2.40 and the night’s still young :) You probably read on my post, but my husband died two months ago (please don’t react to this as I still get upset for some reason, honestly, but am not depressed otherwise) and I’ve developed this annoying habit of getting into something properly then getting bored and moving off into something else. Unfortunately, this has also impacted my namaaz over the past few days…and before that religious books, other websites, learning Surahs, sorting finances…anything that will impact me positively.

I’m not depressed to chat to, but I don’t sleep at night out of bad habit(I do sleep during the day though) and mess about with stuff that I used to be so organised with.

Btw: I stumbled across a post of yours relating to true friends and felt that this could have been interpreted in two ways. It seemed as though you were talking about Wali’s.

Shout me back when you get a mo oh and thanks for the du’aas…as I said before, I’m praying for you. Those long posts point to underlying misery, lol!!,

Things could be a lot worse I guess. I may go see my doctor on friday and try to get a prescription.I feel alright right now,but that could change in an instant.I try to control my moods the best i can and try to suck it up and smile,but that doesn’t always work. Hopefully I can find the courage enough to see my doctor after work on friday,I really hate to say this ,but I hope I’m miserable on friday that way I will go to the doctor , but if I’m in a “good mood” I probably won’t go. I know I need help, my moods come and go constantly. It’s really hard to explain. I would really like to thank you for your concern it means a lot to me to know someone is out there.

Hey, just wanted to say thankyou for your reply to my post about me taking a couple of days off.
The reason i left was the fact that it wasnt a debate anymore, some people were personally attacking me and insulting me just because they didnt like my beliefs. Now i am definately one to argue! if you have seen me around you could probably guess that :P but people were just being so personal and i wasnt ready for that i guess. Have a few issues at home etc and it was all a bit too much.

Anyway, i wanted to thankyou personally for your reply. You took the time for me, so i owe you the same. Anytime you need me, just shout :)

hello, I really like how intelligently you respond to yhe posts. I would like to say that I think you would be nice to talk to about the world and religious views and such. I posted something that made people think I was suicidal and it was actually the opposite.About trusting people and your response was dead on the money and Im happy to know others can relate to the feelings of not trusting people and thats whats going on with me in every aspect of life now. Im like Neno Brown I dont trust a mofo! and I realize that causes me to hold hate in my heart and thats not how I want to go through life. So maybe folks like you are good to chat with to let me & others know that the whole world aint out to get me.
