• Life seems to continue to kick me while i’m down.
  

  Keep your head up. That’s what I’m doing. Hoping for the best. I know that it is very difficult when you seem to keep getting hit again and again.   I will pray for you. I think I have a slight touch of this. I too had fears of deadlines, I procrastinated for no reason, I would get frozen in time. I progressed to sleeping and hiding from reality while in college. Fortunately, my prior grades helped me when I developed this problem. My gpa did not go to low once my performance dropped. I’d say I was lucky but it did not stop in college. It took me a while ot decide to just do it. I threw myself into situations that were do or die. I made sure there were no written projects due (this is in the work place) and just forced myself to do it even if it was a terrible example of my work. I just forced myself to get something done. It progressed from there. I eventually started to accept written projects and improved the quality of my work. I would have done better sooner if I had sought help while in school and after. I would suggest you talk to your counselor, the school psychologist, and or a trusted professor. Perhaps they can get your help and put your school career on hold until you can handle it - it beats trying to struggle through by yourself and putting your gpa in danger.

  Just take it easy. Don’t anything else that you might regret later. Just give her some space and a little time. I would wait a while and then either call to just say hi or send her a little card to say the same. Just keep it light - it will remind her of what a hassle free relationship you both enjoyed in the past.

  When I found out my friends constantly competed with me - I decided not to compete back but to instead compete with myself. I find that when I do that I get the satifaction of succeeding without the nasty comments. I would not say anything to the ones who were competing with me but I would just silently challenge myself to do better each time I tried my hand at something. Eventually it worked and I’m a better person for it.

  happy birthday - sometimes going out to celebrate is overrated. YOu can enjoy yourself wihout ever leaving a room. Happy Birthday
