2008-10-13 19:30:50 on Congratulations SpiritedSoul!
Good job, did you have to parallel park? I have not parallel parked since I got my license. I feel anxiety build up just thinking about it.
2008-10-13 15:19:30 on Ok I am a 21 year old woman who is 5′9″ and I weigh 125 pounds.
I don’t think you can convince them. Just point out that you are not loosing weight nor do you want to loose weight. In time, if they see you stay the same weight. They will let off the worry.
2008-10-13 15:02:23 on I am very sad.
Q. What do you call someone who is addicted to the computer?
A. Anything you want, they are not listening.
2008-10-13 13:28:59 on I’m hitting my head on the wall!
I know someone that just had a surgery because she was always getting dizzy . I do not know if she had stomach problems. But hers had to do with her inner ear. I will see if I can find out more for you. I will post back when I know. I do not know a number to call her. She is an acquaintance through my husbands friend. But I will see what I can find out.
2008-10-13 11:29:45 on My sister has a lousy marriage; my parents are really screwed up.
Did you just make another post?
2008-10-13 11:21:12 on i lied to my parents, and said i was molested.
Don’t worry about what people think. And no, you are not crazy, you are just having some issues that need to be dealt with. You have a therapist. Someone who is trained to deal with things like this. Use what you have right there available to you.
What is going on with your relationship with your parents? Why do you feel you are not getting enough attention? Why do you think they didn’t care even when they thought your were molested? I mean if they got you set up with a therapist, that seems like they care.
2008-10-13 11:13:36 on i lied to my parents, and said i was molested.
my cousin did this once. She said her dad molested her friend. Then she said she made it up. I am not sure why she did that. I would say she was needing attention and help for other problems and it was just easier to make something up.
my parents honestly dont care. thats what freaks me out most… they think i was… but they dont care!i really hate myself.. now im even more depressed that i was before.
I think you too are wanting attention for other problems. Why don’t you tell the truth the therapist. Talk honestly about what is really bothering you. See what they have to say about it.
2008-10-13 10:56:32 on I am worried about MamaBear/Felicity/Kim.
Thanks for letting us know what is going on with you. I feel a little better hearing your reply. I will keep you in my prayers.
2008-10-13 10:44:40 on My name is David.

2008-10-13 10:35:49 on what do you do when there seems to be nothing left inside, and everything worth living 4 is gone?

2008-10-13 10:30:32 on i want to run away.

I agree that you do not have to have religious beliefs in order to be a good person or have good morals and values. That is what I meant to say.
Religion is a plague.
We live in the 21st century. We need to grow up!
Here are some misconceptions about religion:
1. Without religion, you can’t have morals. False - morals come from ourselves and human interaction, not from religion.
2. Religion has saved many lives. True, but a white lie - it has destroyed and killed many more.
3. Religion is the best way to find peace. False - I know a lot of people who are very frustrated because of religion. The happiest people are the non-religious.
4. You can’t have faith without religion. False - you can believe what you want, but once you try to convert others, you get organized religion. I am an Atheist, but I have nothing against those who aren’t and keep to themselves.
5. Atheists haven’t done anything good. False - Bill Gates doesn’t have a religion, and look what he’s done.
Some might have that delusion, but I do not think it plays a part for the majority of people. There was one help.com user who committed suicide and I would say he had unhealthy religious views and that his religious delusions could have played a part of why he committed suicide.

its all ******** religion a load of crap
language lol!
i also know people who have commited suicide, going to a better place!!!
left 2 kids behind etc
going to a better place!!!decievement
dont get me wrong im religious myself, always have been
i just wondered why so many suicides?
i can understand wanting to ease the pain etc
but what if you had the same pain in your afterlife?what have you accomplished???
Have you had depression? People who commit suicide are not thinking right. Their brains and not functioning right. They are in such mental anguish that they just want it to end. Simple as that. They can not see past their pain to get help. Their minds block out the good in their lifes. They just can not see it. Their brain locks on the negative things in life. And turns even good things in to negative. Like your friend leaving behind children. She did not see that her children would suffer without her. She thought she was doing them a favor by getting herself out of their lives. She felt so miserable about herself, that she could not see any use for herself in her children’s lives. She felt her being here would do more harm then good. We know that is not true. But she could not see the truth.
I think the best way to help someone who is suicidal is to let them know what is happening to them is a physical illness that can be helped. Like diabetes. A illness that can be stabilized with treatment. Same with being suicidal, it can be stabilized with treatment and even cured over time with continued help and support.
We need to take away the stigma of mental health and just view it as we would health for the rest of our body.
I am a spiritual person, maybe religious, depending of your views of religious. But I would a say my spiritual beliefs help me more then hinder me.
