Because, having those few seconds of time to get the thing on them..
Those seconds would be used to have the rate return to normal.

I didn’t walk with him today because I needed to stay after school to help some teachers with a play.
So.
I really can’t avoid walking home with for, it’s only like 3/4 of a block we walk together. That isn’t so bad.
I could’ve gotten picked up but my dad changed his work hours to end at 3 and school gets out at 2:15.
My mom can’t drive and my brother gets home around 2:45.
It’s no use, and I cant really avoid it. SO. Eh.
