  one can absolutely make a personal/ romantic connection with another online because you get straight to what’s inside; in person, physical appearance can be a road block to that avenue. that said, i always click on the photos first :]
  
  for the life of me, i can’t get beyond the initial page of your website. i’ve click two different links you provided in a previous post and each page has a different list but the layouts are basically the same… i’m not sure what you’re trying to accomplish…? is it, like, a brokerage for other sites? or is it a “personals” in and of itself?

  max, i have already moved from hawaii to seattle. my husband’s trade is irrelevant (see below).
  
  most-wanted, i have been in a rut for so long that i’ve abandoned hula, yoga, and reading, my feel-good/ my-time things. i like my current job, i just wish it would pick up! my husband doesn’t want to do (& couldn’t for awhile due to injury) what he usually does, so maybe his not getting contracts is self-fulfilling, even on a subconscious level.

  at work on friday, i won a $50 gas card at a raffle. first name called! hadn’t decided what to do with the card since i no longer have a vehicle. as i was walking home from the bus stop, i saw a neighbor heading up his steps with a case of beer in hand… i turned around and headed for the gas station and bought my husband (i don’t drink) a 6 pack. (friday night, it’d been awhile, it was funded by a totally unexpected source, why not?) when i got home i learned that my parents had sent my kids a care package that incuded chocolates and money for the movies. apparently the school principal also called to ask if everything is ok. (not sure what to make of that…?) the following day when we returned from the movies there was a collection of books and toys on our porch left by a neighbor. today my husband attended a training class for a job. that’s right, people: work.
  
  i think if i change my perspective, things will go my way. i really do think that. but it’s taken me until about 5 minutes ago to actually make those changes.

  Fortunatley (or unfortunately, depending on your perspective) we are not at “welfare” status yet. The fact that we own a home (albeit just barely and out of state) disqualifies us from receiving assistance. Also against us is that there is no reason that we i>can’t /i> work (physical disability, etc); he just isn’t getting hired and I haven’t been given many hours. But nor do we qualify for our unemployment benefits. Thank you. You have inspired me to look into organizations that may be serve as resources.
