  Well you’ve either stop responding/reading, or you’re reading everything but not responding.
  You are going to do what you want. Doesn’t matter what I say, or what anyone else says.
  I can tell you something though, and weather you read it or not is up to you.
  I had the “big dream” of doing what I wanted to do, moved in with my boyfriend out of high school and all that, guess what things didn’t go as planned. They never do. Jobs were hard to land, cars kept breaking down, mom and dad didn’t pay for anything for us, we started with little money as well. We’d fix one thing, something else would break, until our relationship broke. In the process certain things that he says this day he wishes never happened, did happen.
  The stresses of starting out with nothing, are alot bigger than you’d think.
  From there I started wishing I had gone to college, my folks couldn’t afford to send me though, and even if they could, they wouldn’t. All my life I’ve had to work and work hard for what I got. My family was always on the poor side until I reached my teen years, they pulled themselves on out of that, but life played a cruel joke on them so they’re back in the hole they pulled themselves out of because of financial debt thanks to a few large scale medical problems.
  Me, I’m 30 now, 2 kids, 1 borderline special needs. I’ve held down random jobs here and there but let me tell ya, there’s nothing glamorous about any of the jobs (CNA, waitress, cashier) and there’s nothing glamorous about living with your boyfriend before you’ve gotten your life in order and on your feet.
  I’ve watched my life get ripped out from under me so many times after holding down menial jobs and clawing my way to a decent existence not only for me, but for my kids.
  I’ve been through abuse, jail time, poverty (still there! kids with disabilities aren’t cheap, nor are children and living the american dream in general) and other lovely things that people shouldn’t have to go through. My husband had the opportunity to go to college, he blew it in the wind after a couple quarters. He had a free ride paid for by the US military. I tried to go to college once I grew the eff up and realized I wasn’t going anywhere without an education. I decided I wanted to be a chef, but apparently that’s not in my stars either, both times college have fallen through before I can start.
  
  My advice is go to school, suck it up, make your family happy, choose something YOU want to do though to get ahead in life. Get on your feet. That is proving you are mature and ready to be independent. Life is about making decisions that may not always necessarily make you happy but in the end will help you better your life.
  Right now my life looks pretty bleak even though I have 2 wonderful babies, but it’s not easy, it’ll never be easy, but I sure do look back and think about what it woulda been like if I actually LISTENED TO MY PARENTS. Now I’m a mom, and I’m giving the same advice. Don’t throw your life away because you want to make a silly here and now decision.
  I’m all about free spirits though, but you can’t be a free spirit if you don’t at least have a heading, you won’t get a heading until you begin to learn.

  The point of this site is to help each other, not make them feel bad for asking for help. I’m sure they know there’s people worse off, but when it’s your post people help you, not make you feel worse, if they are making you feel worse you should report them. I don’t think it would feel too good if someone came in your post and posted something that’s worse in their life and then told you to basically get over it, move on and that their situation is worse.
  It maybe worse, it may not. Everyone is fighting their own demons though. If you don’t feel you have anything helpful to contribute to the situation then move on to the next post.

  Did you read half the stuff you put? No. Do not under any circumstances go. I don’t care if Jesus himself came down and redeemed this guy somehow. Do not go. He will frick up your relationship with your new guy. You don’t need your doosh pickle of an ex screwing up your life.
  He’s an ex for a reason.
  He wants what he can’t have, when he has it, he doesn’t appreciate it and screws it up until he can’t have it. He gets bored and tosses it aside like a used up toy until he sees someone shine up his old toy and play with it, then he wants it again like a toddler would.
  No just no. Run for the hills.

  You’re used to self medication, your moods were controlled by substances you put in your body, at the rate you wished to put them. They weren’t controlled by anyone or anything else.
  Now they are and well sadly the world is a bit depressing so facing it without drugs or alcohol is tough.
  The best thing for you to do is surround yourself with positive people, supportive people, and people who want whats the best for you and your health. Find a craft or a hobby that is away from drugs and alcohol and even over eating I know that sounds weird but some people pick up other cruddy habits when in the withdrawl process.
  Focus your depression into something good. Volunteer for a hospital, paint, sing, dance, teach a little kid how to play basketball. I mean there’s tons of options. You may still feel depressed but at some point you’ll feel rewarded helping others or accomplishing something.

  Since I’ve started working my sons skin has cracked open from his eczema and hadn’t closed, my daughter says her dad doesn’t always take care of the kids while I’m not here, and there have been several accidents with the little guy from neglect, yesterday my husband tried to cook and my son ended up hurt because my husband can’t chew gum and walk if you get what i mean. His own mother who I don’t get along with is supporting me and agrees he shouldn’t be home with the kids and he shouldn’t be playing video games while the kids are awake.

  We figure it might be something blocking the water, we’ve tried to see if we could find anything but nada so far, we both have some minor skills in the repair area, kinda jack of all trades very simple stuff nothing too detailed at least for me, my roomie is a bit more handy though.

  All my life I have worked in jobs that I thought were Ok, a few I disliked alot and a couple I did enjoy but just wasn’t for me. So I think this will work out good, I get 2 months off each year so it’s considered “temporary” and you get laid off for 2 months in the very slow months but you are invited back the next year. So that gives me time to catch my breath. The job itself I think is just going to be tons of fun.

  Depends on what type of person you are, I’m not one to call my guys “pet names” but for a bit I did call my now ex fiance “dear” and now and then a strategically thrown in honey or darling when I really wanted something.
  If you aren’t the pet name type, and he is comfortable with that, then babe should be just fine. You could always throw in my love at the end of a sentence when you’re speaking to him such as “Oh I’d love to have that for dinner, my love (or my dear.)”
  If it’s weird try it out a few times, if it’s still weird then it’s not your thing, don’t feel bad for it either.
  Everyone is different in their own way. Some people call everyone sugar, but reserve honey for their mate =P
