  I agree that you might hear yourself. But at the same time I guess it would be a situation where you might actually HOPE for someone to be listening in on the conversation… especially someone smart and sympathetic.

  You should follow your heart. They are all right about that! Dont worry about what other people think. I decided that I wanted to be an artist, and although it took my parents a while to understand why, they finally seem to know where I’m coming from.
  A lot of people dont understand that there is lots of money to be made in professions that have to do with they arts. A lot of it has to do with talent but most of the best art professionals are simply the best with what they have to work with. Since you have talent, a brain, a potential support group, and the will to do your best you could go very far. Just dont let them get you down. do what makes you proud.
  And one last thing…
  This is really funny in a twisted sort of way, but you’ll realize soon that a lot of these people you think have everything planned out for themselves are really more lost than anyone can ever imagine. When I graduated from high school I was one of the only kids who just walked on the stage, grabbed my diploms and walked off. I lot of the other students had these long introductions stating where they would be attending school in September and what prizes they had won that year. When September finally came lots of these people got home sick, so they came home early… some made horrible marks… some really smart kids could not come to grips with the fact that there are smarter people out there than themselves and MOST of them decide to change their mind about what job they are working towards. In fact some of them just stay in school their who lives!
