  There is never anything wrong with a little bit of space. Take a few days from talking to him. It might seem hard at first but you definitely need to refrain from any contact with him whatsoever. After a few days, I think you will see things more clearly.

  It seems like he is struggling with his own emotions. If he did want it to be over just like that, I’m sure he would have given back your keys already. I’m don’t have much advice for you though accept if you think he’s worth it, your time and effort in a relationship, then wait for him.
