Get a torrent client, install it and make sure that if you have a router NAT is configured.
Then search for a rosetta stone torrent on torrentz.com or some other torrent search engine. Read the comments to make sure it’s not a fake or a virus. Even so you can never be 100% sure that what you’re downloading is actually what you want.
Download the .torrent file.
Double click or open it with the torrent client.
Wait until the download is finished and then some…
There you are, an illegal copy of Rosetta stone is on your PC. Shame on you, evil pirate. Now go buy it. It’s a lot safer, too. If you’re caught you’re facing more money than you saved.
2009-11-02 10:01:51 on The phrase “ten meters per second squared”
Acceleration would be meters per second per second. 32 fps per second is gravity.
Nope. m/s^2 = m/s per s. Same difference. And who in their right mind measures in feet per second? All physical equations I know of work only in the metric system - making things confusing by using two different systems doesn’t help much.
Smooth dude. You just wanna do his homework for him. I hope you feel better now.
Indeed I do. I’ve helped someone who didn’t know the answer to a question they may never ever need to answer later in life. Hell, the whole school system is messed up anyway. http://punkerslut.com/articles/beareb… for more info.

…acceleration of gravity approximated to one significant figure. Or some other acceleration that I don’t know.
I’m not sure what to do..or how to phrase it..I feel that looking at my life from an outside point of view, everything seems prosperous..I’m 18, getting ready to choose my college, and have a girl who’s absolutely in love with me. yet I constantly feel out of place and alone. most of my “friends” never try to get in contact with me, and all lead separate lives. I feel that whenever we do talk, it’s because I seek them out. I’m not sure what I’m doing to chase them away, and I don’t wanna constantly be the one who initiates everything..is there..a solution..anyone..
Wow. I’m so jealous :( Hah. Hey, at least you have friends. People to talk to and stuff. You even have a girl… what are you complaining of? Be happy, lol.
2009-10-18 15:06:00 on Cell organelles to humans analogy - Check my answers please?
jeez… no clue :# Ribosome is like the digestive system though. It assembles proteins.
Golgi bodies are like the circulatory system. They help transport proteins where they need to go with marker protein. Vacuoles are actually more like storage tanks. Mitochondrias are the powerhouse (generate ATP for aerobic cell respiration via Krebs cycle). I’m not so sure about the ER acting as bacteria though… The ER has many functions (smooth ER, roough ER? Which one do you mean??) , but the main one is to fold proteins.
Can’t really relate them to the human body. That’s more of a uselesss mnemnonic used by the education system in the US which will distract you later from learning the actual tasks each of the organelles accomplishes with its enzymes etc.
That, my friend, is life. Risk it, or don’t.
This sounds totally hokey, but be a joiner. Find clubs and groups dedicated to things that interest you. That takes away the need to find something in common with people, because that’s why you’re together in the first place. Then start chatting. No one said it’s easy, but there are also no alternatives.
I’d love to give it a shot, but it’s difficult in my situation. Where I live they all speak French, but my French sucks. I used to be part of a sports team but couldn’t really interact much, then quit. At my school (where people speak English) the sports teams are comprised mostly of jocks that would, to put it lightly, annihilate me. Uhh.. yeah. Not exactly good options.
sometime you have to make the incentive to talk to people. and you need to be open to talk about yourself and relate and keep things appropriate so people do not get offended. meeting people that can really click with you can be hard so dont narrow down. just be nice and friendly to everyone.
Hmm… difficult. Been there. I mean, I can talk to people in school at lunch and stuff, have conversations over meaningless smalltalk and things. But really getting to know people… That’s difficult. But how do I open up without spilling my guts out and letting them decimate me?
2009-10-15 11:40:18 on All lonely :(
To littlenick: There’s no people out here. I’m in UTC+1 so it’s almost 9pm here.
Keckers… I’m in my final year of Highschool (I’m doing the IB so it’s one extra year, yr 13). 17 Yrs old. I’ve been friendless most of my life :(. Meeting people is impossible for me somehow.
2009-09-27 15:12:30 on im doomed in a meaningless life.
Many have tried… many have failed. Live your life, be good to people even when you don’t like them, do something you like. Just have fun but don’t forget to care about other people.
