hi there! Great to hear from you!
So much has happened to my friend.
She and her husband had a knock down drag out. I was there and I pretty much told him where to go. I told him he was poor excuse for a husband. He finally walked out and I slammed the door after him.
She freaked out saying,”He won’t come back!!”
I finally got her calmed down. My boyfriend and I left. I finally got to bed about 3 am when she called me… she ended up in the ER. She tried to kill herself by swallowing a bunch of pills. But after she swallowed them, she freaked out b/c she knew it wasn’t a good idea. I rushed to the ER and stayed by her side all morning long.
Today she is doing better. She is on an anti-depressant and he as agreed to get some help.
I will let you know if it gets better or if they just end up divorcing.
BTW.. the children where at her parents when all of the drama went down.

I love her and genuinly want the best for her.

I had a good Mother’s Day. I drove to Atlanta to be with my mom, and actually played croquette with a big group of family. Haven’t done that since I was a kid. Glad you had a good one too.

I think you’re over-reacting just a little sweetie. I mean really, I’m not the only one who was appalled that you are giving pot to a puppy!!! Sorry, some things that NEED to be said to people are not always nice, and again I’m not one who can just stand by and watch animal abuse. Human beings can be horrible to innocent creatures. It looks to me like you closed that post because once again you didn’t like what you were hearing, that’s all. And you wish to silence those you don’t agree with. Too bad. This is a public forum, and you posted it publicly. Apparently you only want to hear what you want to hear though, anything else is not welcome. Dream on that you have a “stalker”… so dramatic!! What you have is opinions you don’t want to hear about what you really know is so wrong anyway. I will not sit by and say nothing about the mistreatment of animals, by you or anyone else I come across… so sorry.

Unfortunately you closed the thread, but I do hope you (or your boyfriend) have stopped giving that puppy pot, or somehow forcing it to smoke pot. Geez, it’s just a puppy… and it’s no joking matter. How could you do that for “fun”? It’s not exactly “natural” for a dog to be smoking pot you know, and his lungs are just developing. I really don’t know what you people are thinking to amuse yourselves this way, at an innocent animal’s expense… but I guess you’re both just high too. You do seem to have this viewpoint that this is somehow OK for animals but not kids… no, you wouldn’t give pot to a kid, but giving it to a puppy is OK?? Oh, HE’s not the first person to get their dog high?!! Do you hear yourself? And you’re doing it to a puppy!! That’s more than a little bit nuts! You do seem to have some attitude toward animals that they’re “just animals”… but when you take on a pet, you have responsibilities. I don’t think you’re taking them seriously enough or respecting other living creatures quite enough either.

If your boyfriend won’t stop doing this, why don’t you give the puppy a chance with some other home before he is permanently harmed by this “fun”, if he isn’t already.

hi hope. on your post the other day, when i sent the medical info on effects of weed, i want you to know that i wasn’t judging you or derek.

when i was your age, which was a long time ago, my friends and i did things like that and all thought it was funny. but then we didn’t know about pot’s medical drawbacks at the time.

there are plenty of positive medical uses for marijuana, also, which i did not include in my reply, since i figured little copone isn’t going through chemo-therapy.

i used to be a big pothead, and quit because i felt it made me apathetic. it zapped me of my ambitions. with the two of you starting out a new family, there may come a time when derek realizes the same thing.

by the way, i checked out the myspace page mentioned in your profile. your little nephew is quite a dancer!

lhlord i think you’ve got a good head on your shoulders. what you say in your profile about the popularity culture of school and the reality of the world is on target.

on this site i think that the people with lots of friend icons are people who have put their hearts and hours of time into helping others. they’re people who think through their replies and don’t judge.

my biggest challenge is maintaining a balance in life, and i think you’re off to a good start in finding yours. now.. if we could only get that bulldogs-gators win-loss stat in balance! :)
